Lake Okanagan is the largest body of water in the Okanagan Valley. To its immediate south lie three smaller lakes -- the Skaha, Vaseux, and Osoyoos. An awe-inspiring glacial landscape is completed by gently rolling hills that frame these valleys filled with picturesque orchards and vineyards. Sunshine dominates the scene during the day, and stars twinkle at night.
The Okanagan Valley is British Columbia's oldest and main grape-growing region. Although it lies on the same latitude as the northern German and French vineyards, the Okanagan Valley is not all classified as a "cool-climate" growing region. Distinct microclimates exist throughout the Valley, from the hot, sandy, desert soils in the southern valley to the cooler vineyard sites in the north, with their deep topsoil and clay. Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris and Pinot, Pinot blanc, Pinot noir, Pinot gris, Riesling, and Gewürztraminer are grown the region. During October / November, some are left to freeze on the vine for the region's famed Icewines. ( By winesnv)

We had a wonderful time visiting Kaleden and the surrounding area. Coming home each night to such a wonderful place to stay only made it better.
Your recommendations of Topcat Wine Tours and The Frog City Cafe were perfect. We had breakfast at Frog City twice--what a setting--and the Topcat wine tour was amazing.

Your suite is very tastefully done and the location is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Thank you for the cycling maps--they were most helpful. We enjoyed our time in Kaleden and will recommend Lollygag to our friends should they be coming to the Okanagan. As Dave suggested, a T.V. upgrade would be most welcome, (especially if the weather is inclement). You are good hosts, helpful yet discreet. Thanks again.
D. and A., Fernie, B.C. (June 2016)
Thank you for playing a part in our first family roadtrip and holiday.
We enjoyed the scenic beauty of the view and star-filled, quiet nights (when our baby wasn't crying).
Best of luck in the vacation business; you have a great spot!

Thank you so much for making our stay in Kaleden so peaceful and enjoyable. My favourite thing was sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and maybe a book and enjoying the magnificent view. We loved all of the wildlife that wander through and past the yard! Birdwatching was amazing!!
We can't wait to reurn to this beautiful place. We're bracing ourselves already for another frigid Alberta winter.
R., J. and R., Edmonton, Alberta. (August, 2015)
We cannot thank you enough for sharing this beautiful place with us. It is so peaceful and relaxing. The view from the living room and deck are spectacular. Great location, not too far from anything.
We will highly recommend this place to anyone and we hope to come back next year for another family vacation.
We really enjoyed the wildlife and watching the "Puppies" as our 2 year-old would call the deer. Great job on the landscaping. Very pretty!!
B., C. and E., Calmar, Alberta. (August, 2015)
Thank you for the great stay. The suite was perfect for our getaway. The pics on the listing do not do this place justice. So much better in person. Loved waking up to the beautiful lake view. The location here is awesome and very central to all the things / places we wanted to do / see.
We definitely recommend this place to anyone and hope to be back and maybe see you again next summer.
B-A. and Q, Innisfail, Alberta (August, 2015)
Thank you for being so gracious during the booking process! It was very nice of you to honor my booking even though my travelling caused so many issues with my bank.
Lollygaggers Paradise is even more beautiful in person--the photos just don't do it justice. You did a wonderful job with this place and your attention to detail is evident throughout both the inside and outside the property.
We hope to come back here and enjoy the best spot in the Okanagan, here just above beautiful Skaha Lake.
L. and A. San Francisco, USA and New Zealand (July, 2015)
What a lovely deck you have! The view from here is amazing as the light changes throughout the day. We reallyt enjoyed the butterflies and butterfly bush, the deer, the quail, humming birds and the midnight owl. We loved swimming in Skaha Lake! Thank you for being such nice hosts. It was a wonderful long weekend for us.
R., A, and S., Vancouver, B.C. (July, 2015)
Thank you so much for all you have given us. Our stay here has been a peaceful break from our otherwise busy home life. Renos are never easy. Coming here was easy and a welcome diversion.
We have enjoyed 'stretching our eye' over the beautiful Skaha Lake.
L.J. and D., Penticton, B.C. (November, 2014)
So thankful that we found your lovely suite to spend 5 lovely days at. The views from the deck are breathtaking! We enjoyed our time in wine country...so many wineries...so little time.
Thank you also for the recommendations to the OK Falls Pub and the Dream Cafe. You can't beat the local fare for a good evening.
We hate to leave, but the west coast calls.
