“girl friend get away”
This was my fourth trip to the Hawaiian islands, third to Kauai. I looked all over the island for the perfect get away that would be centrally located for our excursions, adventures, hikes and bike rides. I've stayed at condos, duplex cottages and hotels on Kauai, but wanted something different. This house was it. Beautiful setting, waterfalls, pool, spa, house interior and exterior comfortable and well maintained. It included bikes, bike rack for auto and snorkeling gear which were all in good repair and used by our group. The owners provided fresh fruit upon our arrival and looked in on us a couple times to make sure all was well. We loved having our own rooms and the kitchen and dining room were completely equipped with anything we could have needed. The very private beautiful central location was its best quality for me. I felt safe, comfortable and welcome! The house was full of interesting books about the history and locations on the island. The house décor , so Hawaiian and comfortable. I listened to the birds through my open jalousie windows every morning. The roosters were vocal, but did not bother us at all. I also appreciated how the house was set up for recycling. We did not watch much television, but I recommend the Hawaii information channel for useful information about places on the island. We enjoyed the radio, but I preferred the sounds of the country and smell of fresh cut grass. The plants, flowers and orchids on the property were beautiful. This house would be great for families, weddings, anniversaries or just a quiet girlfriend get away, which was our trip. My friends and I have known each other for 35 years. We all agreed, Hale O' Wailele was paradise.

Like those before us, and those to follow we fell in love with Hale O' Wailele the moment we walked through the door. We had great plans to "see it all" but why go away when paradise is out your back door. The flowers in full bloom, the fruit falling off the trees, the stars shining brighter than ever before and all right here. Thanks for the rest and relaxing we so much needed and thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Aloha! I just wanted to let you know that my family had a wonderful Christmas while staying at Hale O' Wailele. What a surprise to enter the house and be greeted to holiday decorations and a Christmas tree; a very thoughtful idea. Thank you for answering many of our questions and for the platter of fresh fruit upon our arrival. "The bananas were a perfect ingredient in Gin Fizzes!" It was truly a lovely vacation, much in part to the hospitality and beauty of Hale O' Wailele. Best wishes for a Happy New Year.
Sincerely, Delucchi Family
My husband and I had an awesome 5th year anniversary vacation and wanted to express to you our gratitude for the hospitality. Your house was beautiful and the pool was spectacular. I can't imagine what it would have been like if I hadn't found you on the web, it was truly a hidden treasure. The only thing I will change on our next visit is the length of stay!

I wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful stay at your home in paradise, it was even better than the pictures (which doesn't normally happen)! The home was comfy and lovely, the property was beautiful, remote and private, and all the ammenities (hottub, pool, bikes, etc.) were very enjoyable. The fresh fruit basket and chocolate covered macadamia nuts gift were a nice surprise - fresh bananas right from the tree are so good and something I have never had before (I think I ate at least 3 a day).
Thank you very much for opening your home to us, we had a fantastic vacation, and one of our biggest highlights was our accommodations. We will highly recommend it to others!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you did to make our holiday in Kauai a complete and unforgetable experience!! You're beautiful home with such a picturesque setting was everything we could of hoped for!! You're care and attention to every single detail was very much appreciated. As a matter of fact, we found ourselves lounging around the kichen, or outside in the back yard drinking Kona coffee, often way into late morning!!! Dejon, also I would like to personally thank you for all the help with suggestions and of course all the answers to my questions before arriving. You're recommendations proved to be always perfect!! This trip for my wife, was her first to Hawaii, and having always dreamed of coming here and at the same time celebrating our honeymoon, it could not have been any better! Anita's dream has been fullfilled! Jeff and Sherry, the other couple who came from the Kwaj. to join us loved every minute and were very sad to leave!! For a bunch of old farts, the location was perfect for our day trips to any part of the island. Will definitely be back and hope to meet you in person next time!! Again, thank-you.
