Our home was custom built again in 2003 and faces nearly one acre of wild flower gardens and a huge landscaped private lawn of 2000 square meters . The house has a living area of 3,200 square feet, divided into upper and lower levels. The living room in each level has huge panoramic windows built into the entire front wall. The windows allow you to soak in the views of the curved Spit, mountains and gleaming glaciers formed across the bay.

Lovely Getaway in the Hills !!
November 24, 2012
The quaint hill town of Kasauli ALWAYS leaves you wanting for more ... As it is it's just pure bliss to be there and can't get better if you are staying at this Holiday Hill Cottage!! Everything from my out of the blue phone call to Shikha (the owner) ... to being at the Hill Cottage ... the food & related arrangements, were ALL fantastic. I highly recommend this Holiday Home for it's location, view, service & very friendly & courteous staff & owner. Thank You and hope to be back sometime. Cheers !!

Felt like HOME in Kasauli
September 21, 2012
If you are looking for home-like cosy place in Kasauli, Homestead is the best place. No reception, no restaurant, no fleet of people at your disposal, no room service, no intercom, no never ending check-in and check-out procedures and most of the other things that you are normally used to, when you set out on a vacation. You will not feel like a guest here. You will feel as if you are at your own home surrounding by the hills and a back lawn with the most photogenic tree and the best vista of the mountains. Dont miss the most delicious food cooked by the caretaker. Will definitely recommend and shall visit again.
Superb Place! Must Stay when in Kasauli!!
July 29, 2012
An excellent place, one of those where you want to go back again. The hospitality, courtesy, comfort of a home.. all that you look for when you travel out.. all was just waiting for you no sooner then you settled. The place sufficiently equipped and whatever is missing, you have Jaswant ready to help you. His service was outstanding all the way. The place with its ‘captive lawn & scenic view’ is something that you cherish lazing through the day or at night overlooking the valley and ranges across. The villa is located in a quite part of Kasauli just a few minutes walk from the market place on the Mall. We went as a group of 3 families and like to say the cook delighted all of us which ever meal and the barbecue was awesome be it the non veg or the veg stuff. All in all, love to get back another time for sure! Cheer all the way!

I stayed there with husband and few friends. Had a wonderful time… nicely done clean rooms, Great food, all home-made and customised as per the guest’s choice which I thought was a very nice attribute when travelling with family and loved ones…… Absolutely loved it! Worth every penny ;) perfect location, very quiet away from the hustle & bustle of the city, great views of hills around, you can enjoy reading or just sit out and enjoy the beautiful nature, will definitely come back….

The cottage is excellent and has a pristine view of the valley and mountains. It is located 10 mins away from the hustle and bustle of The Mall Road which is ideal to spend a holiday with family and friends. The service and hospitality is wonderful...the cook prepared great food of our choice and even did a barbeque one evening. Excellent place for a retreat. Will surely go there again. Cheers, Puneet

My family and me have stayed in this property several times..The cottage is very homely and warm... Has an excellent location, just about walking distance from the mall road...It has a fabulous view overlooking the mountains....We have had many night with the bonfire in the lawns, listening to music and looking at the scenic view. Had a fantastic time

We had been wanting to take a vacation for long time, but the problem was my pet dog which could not go for vacation with us because no hotel would allow pets. Then after searching the web I found Homestead Bungalows which allowed me to get in the pet. This was our fantastic holiday with my mom, brother and our pet. Yashwant and his wife were very helpful during our stay and I still remember the Aloo and Gobi paratha. I would highly recommend the Homestead Bungalow people with pet or without.
Wonderful, homely place; pet friendly

It is a wonderful, clean and homely place. Very well located -- close to Mall, and both Lower and Upper Mall roads are accessible. Have been to Kasauli 3 times, and this was easily the best place. Makes you feel at home. Most importantly for us, it allows pets and so we can get our doggy along with us. We definitely intend to come and spend more holidays here.

i had not thought that first the weather would be so good in kasauli in june and next that this villa would be sucha dream house . my children cannot stay without ac and had gone with me on the condition that we might leave if they didmn't like the place . rather they wanted to stay for two more day but unfortunately the place had already been booked. The caretaker is more than helpful. Listeing to the owner's prized collection of ghulam ali and sitting in the lawn and going through their library was the most amazing experience for me . the children were busy playing in the lawns as there were provisions for games. All in ALL i had a complete rejuvanation with home food and absolute calm in the hills of Kasauli and in Homestead villa.
