Wonderful Family Vacation

July 8, 2015

My family and I rented out Lupine Lodge for a long weekend for the 4th of July (Thurs-Sun). Working with the owner was fantastic. Deborah was extremely responsive and helpful when it came to questions about the house and area. We were all impressed from the moment we walked in the door, as everything is very clean and well decorated and organized. There are gorgeous portraits that her son created scattered throughout the house that are great to look at and admire (and the gallery just opened when we were there right down the road!). The house sleeps 26 people, and it accommodates all 26 very well (best in accommodations that I have rented thus far). There are linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, lawn games, stocked kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, etc that make your stay very easy and comfortable. The area of Cape Porpoise is very cute, and there are many things right in walking distance. You do have to drive to the beaches, but very close by to get to (2.5 miles - 5 minute drive). We enjoyed going to Goose Rocks beach during our stay, and would go into the town of Kennebunkport to check out the shopping areas. Loved our stay and would consider renting again next year!

Owner's reply:

So happy when families and friends can spend relaxed, guilty time together. Thrilled it worked out for you, Melissa and team--you were a pleasure! And I loved that you took advantage of and enjoyed all of the amenities I tried hard to create--fire pit, horse shoe pit, bocce, etc. Would love to have you and yours as return guests!
