Great place for family who like boating, fishing, diving, snorkeling and have fun in the beautiful reef at John Penny Camp State under water park. I recommended to everyone I know. This place is awesome!! I am a HAPPY Camper!

This ocean front villa that was in Kawama yacht club gated community was awesome. My family of eight had a blast. Lots of room and space for all of us. You have your own beach and steps into the ocean with breath taking views. Villa came with golf cart, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing rods, grill, lounge chairs, bikes, two pools and a lagoon. Close to stores, restaurants and parks. Norman was always just a phone call away to help with anything you needed as well. We will be back again for sure. Great experience right on the ocean.

“Nice place and coming back in 2016”

We stayed at one of Norms rentals April 2015, I've read all the reviews off and on before and since we've stayed there. THis place is very nice for the price. Norm is there if needed and if not you may see him in passing. The golf cart is a big plus at his property. Nice pools and the location is GREAT for other adventures. All I can say is some people would complain if they were hung by a new rope! See you in April 2016 and thanks for a very nice experiance .

“Little Paradise for my 50th birthday and Holidays”

Christmas family holiday and New Year 2015-2016 in this beautiful villa with direct ocean views. Small marshy beach right in front (bring slippers). The owner is friendly, available on site or reachable by email or phone if needed. It offers bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards, etc ... And also fishing equipment, snorkeling, balls, racquets and tennis balls ... All included in the rent. Only downside, the BBQ was not in working order. Villa well furnished to adequate bed linen, towels and bath available. Kitchen in order, diverse and varied dishes, staple food in the cupboards, in general left no previous tenants but convenient when you arrive without having races! Washer and dryer also available. We had a great stay, feet in water. We saw dolphins swimming in the distance, birds and iguanas on the property, a baby shark in the distance and also a small line right in front of the pontoon! A great dive center is 1.5 km from the property and our young people have benefited to the handle diving and snorkelling at sea. In short a great time and a beautiful destination. Still thank you to Norman Wartman for information and availability. We'll definitely be back!

“Lovely Christmas vacation venue”

My two children, their spouses and I spent six very enjoyable days here. The property is beautiful and was well maintained. The hosts left us snacks, a bottle of wine and enough coffee for that first pot in the morning before grocery shopping which was much appreciated! We cooked breakfast and dinner several times and had all the spices and cooking items we needed. There were sufficient supplies for the kitchen, bath and clothes washing. If you can, take a fishing pole to fish off the dock right outside your door. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching people fish and enjoying the smooth waters. We were also excited by the iguanas that enjoy lying in the sun on the boat docks. There were restaurants, grocery stores and all needed shops close by. Recommend you go to the Turtle Hospital while there - interesting and informative! Note that you can only park one vehicle at the villa but there is overflow parking just a short walk away. We were very pleased with everything and would stay there again!

Owner's reply: It was a pleasure having you here. I look forward to seeing you here in the future.

We had a very nice stay over the new year. It is convenient to a few state parks with nice snorkeling. There was plenty of room. The unit was clean and the kitchen well equipped.

“Great stay in Key Largo”

My husband and I celebrated our joint birthdays for a week in this beautiful ocean front Key Largo condo. Just waking up to the ocean view from our huge front windows made each day we spent special. Our condo included two spiral stair cases to the second floor living area so keep that in mind when booking. You must carry luggage and what ever you will be needing up and down the stairs. The kitchen was well stocked with necessaries for cooking which included pots, pans, dishes, glass wear, silverware, utensils etc. Rooms with a view of the ocean included the kitchen, dining room and living room and a large deck on the second floor and on the lower level the family room/activity area had a great ocean view. Lower lever also included a patio with charcoal grill, table and chairs, private bedroom with a king size bed and full bath, We also had access to the garage to store equipment and golf cart. Each bedroom and both living areas had a flat screened TV, We enjoyed the use of the golf cart, fishing equipment and kayaks while we were there, Snorkeling gear, a small child's pool along with the washer and dryer was available for our use, Swimming pools were nice but we had no time to enjoy. The local marina area was making some improvements but it did not hinder us from fully enjoying our stay. The condo is older but well maintained. Great food and entertainment was just a short drive away in most cases. Fully enjoyed our stay!

“Fabulous Key Largo location!”

Convenient gated location. Two grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. close by. Short distance to Pennecamp State Park and other local attractions. On site kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, bicycling, swimming, walking and relaxing near waterfront. Boat slip available. Golf cart provided. Wonderful family experience. We hope to return.

“Norm Thanks for everything”

Had a great time in Key Largo.... explored much for the area there and it is truly beautiful. Christ statue is a must and the area (ocean) is so different then Marathon (where we usually stay). We just need to study the fishing and lobster spots better. Thank you Norm for it all and it was awesome. God Bless. Paul and Barb Show

“Family diving/fishing -- great time, great rental”

Could not be more pleased with our experience from 25July-2August. We will be back. We are a Navy family, and desired a week of diving/snorkeling/fishing on the ocean side with our own trailered boat. The owner, Norman, gave us great prep info via e-mail and phone, then found out we were arriving early and arranged for us to check in early. He met us there, showed us our boat mooring spot, and gave a detailed walk-through of the property. We launched from the ramp at the property and kept the boat in our mooring spot the entire week. Completely safe - after the first day we left our gear onboard. The children honed their snorkeling skills in the community lagoon (with fish), and we walked to visit the pools, marina and ocean jetty on day 1. The next week the weather was great so each day we were on the water with our boat - quick trips to dive spots, major reefs, etc from Carysfort (15 nm) down to Tavenier, and direct runs to Molasses Reef and Dry Rocks. Saw dozens of large turtles and porpoises, everyone loved the fish on the reefs and dive spots, and in mini-season we took a dozen or so lobster each day from patch reefs to have for dinner. Condo was neat, well-prepped, reasonably clean with all facilities including w/d and cableTV/wi-fi. ZERO issue swith set-up or use - everything worked. Norman responded asap the couple of times we had questions or needed something. Although attentive if we asked for it, he didn't bother us except to exchange greetings if we crossed paths. This is why Ii am compelled to write this personal, very positive review: we left our boat cover in the condo, bottom floor utility closet. We discovered it the next day, after our return to Jacksonville. Norman located the boat cover (it's heavy canvas and not inexpensive), called us, and arranged to deliver it our relatives in Miami a couple of days later when he was near their home. That was a gracious, kind act by a thoughtful person. Bottom line - ocean side, great condo, great facilities, thoughtful owner, fair price, boat ramp, boat slips in marina. We'll be back. One afternoon spend a couple of hours visiting the Coral Restoration Foundation - it's only 1/2 mile away by car. Learn about the coral planting/breeding that is occurring. If you look it up in advance, you can help them plant coral "seedlings" at their research sites (scuba required). Best restaurant for qty/price -- Blue Marlin (or Marlin) on US1- great Cuban food.
