Description of the Keystone vacation condo rental
This corner, end ground-floor condo is the largest, two bedroom unit in Tenderfoot Lodge with 1219 square feet of living area. Since it is a corner end unit, there is abundant light from windows that also provide ample breeze...oh, and incredible views too. It has stainless steel upgrades to the kitchen, free high-speed Internet access, free long distance telephone service, a fax machine and surround sound video.

You can walk out the back porch door that overlooks the Snake River to the mountain house lifts which are less than 440 steps (or about 275 yards) away. Two community hot tubs and a picnic/grilling area are just about 20 steps off the back porch. The sleeping configurations are one queen (MBR), two singles (2nd BR), one queen sofa sleeper (Living Room). An inflatable queen can be made available if requested.

The master bedroom has a deep soaking tub. There is ample underground heated parking with 2 elevators and a storage closet for ski gear just outside the front door. There is no hauling skis up and down any elevators or steps because our unit has direct access to the slopes from our back door.

There is a very well-appointed kitchen which even includes a fondue pot for chilly evenings. The surround sound video is accompanied by a large selection of DVD movies including the Lord of the Rings trilogy. There are two DVD players available--one in the living area and one in the MBR. We have also stocked the condo with numerous board and card games.

Tenderfoot Lodge is located in Keystone's Mountain House Base Area. Keystone is the closest world class ski resort to Denver, Colorado. Tenderfoot Lodge is conveniently located between the River Run Village and the Keystone Resort Lake area. The lodge is right along the bike path that runs to Vail along the Snake River. It is directly across from the "Mountain House" Complex where you can find the Argentine and Peru ski lifts, day care, ski school, and the ski rental areas.

Our first Christmas away from home was well spent in this condo. It was better than advertised! Owner was very good to work with.
