A Beautiful Spot to Stay

July 24, 2015

If you are looking for a way to enjoy a nice family vacation this is the place for you. The location and the views from the Lanais are great. The twin beds in the second bedroom worked out great for us. The boogie boards and snorkel gear where definitely put to good use. We saw sea turtles every evening in the reef. Make sure you bring water shoes to help you get over the reefs, your feet will thank you. In July it is really humid and it is difficult to get the cool evening air into the unit is somewhat difficult, perhaps larger standing fans would help. The facility is a bit dated and there was some construction along the seawall, but overall a condo on the water is a much better option than a hotel. You can also save a ton of money by having several meals in the unit. Mahalo for a great vacation.

Owner's reply:

Thank you for the review. This has been the hottest July on record for Kihei. All the condo's A/C's have been having difficulty keeping the condo temperature's at a comfortable 70*. I am a little puzzled about the seawall construction. There are no seawalls at Kamaole Sands or at Kamaole III Park. Did you stay at Kamaole Sands in building 10? Your name is not the same as my guest for the last 3 weeks. Were you a guest of the renter's?
