This was a beautiful home. very cozy. The owners were awesome. We had called them many times about everything and they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable in every way. they even invited us to his house if we needed something that wasnt available at the rental property. We set up a tent in the backyard near the water and the kids had a blast. Thank you again

Accommodations were more than expected. Fully furnished with everything you need to have a good time. Side trip to DC and Williamsburg were really pretty easy. The North Neck proved to be a very freindly area.

“Parker Shores is recommended”

Reviewed 14 Jul 2014

We enjoyed our recent stay at Parker Shores. It was a very quiet, scenic trip. The community beach was clean and mostly empty during our stay. The owner of the house was very responsive and so very welcoming. Everything that we could have wanted was at the house already and if we asked for anything he made sure it was there immediately. Wonderful rental!

My siblings and I needed a back up vacation spot with lots to do .Bill provided a pet friendly retreat to relax cook fish swim crab and just enjoy each other and the great outdoors.....the public beach is grass free and great swimming. We confess we had to buy a wireless router to connect tablets and Xbox. I also enjoyed the antique and unique decor .....also ceiling fans and couches to keep you cool.

“Wonderful time!”

Thank you so much Bill for sharing your wonderful house with me and my family. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The house was perfect. Loved all the windows so you can even enjoy the beautiful views from inside. We had smores at the campfire one night and a ping pong tournament the other night. It was so nice relaxing in the morning with my coffee outside watching the birds trying to get their morning fish by diving in the water. I can't believe the price for such a nice house on the water. Thanks again!

“One word-RELAXING!”

Reviewed 21 Sep 2013

My husband and I needed a last minute getaway and this place was perfect. So quiet, fully equipped with kayaks, canoes and bikes to ride. The owners here don't miss a thing and the house was decorated to make anyone who stays there feel at home. We loved relaxing on the dock, taking walks and riding the bikes. It was simply a great place to use as a home base to explore the rest of the Northern Neck. So much to see and do. This house had a great game room and a well equipped kitchen. We will come back to this clean, sun-filled house again. Thanks for a wonderful week that was greatly needed.

“Laid Back and Lovely”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2013

This is a great house with something for everyone. Very peaceful and relaxing. My grandchildren loved the little beach close by. Our lab was in heaven the whole time. It's off the beaten path, but we had a wonderful dinner at Yesterdays Restaurant in Montross, and stopped for lunch at Lawry's in Tappahannock on the way home, which I would highly recommend.
