But you are just a 15 minute drive from Lamai town and 35 minutes from Ko Samui's International Airport.The exterior landscaping and tropical planting enhances the overall aesthetics of the property when coupled with the natural materials used for its interior furnishings. The traditional Thai styling and contemporary touches together with the beamed ceilings gives the villa a homely and charming ambience. The outdoor kitchen and bar area together with the sala and the sizeable garden make this an ideal property in which to entertain and enjoy the outdoor Samui lifestyle.The entrance to the villa is a sliding gateway opening into a corner landscaped garden and driveway, where stepping-stones and a few small steps lead you up to the property's beautiful and private central courtyard with swimming pool and sala. The villa is made up of three separate pavilions and each looks out onto this central area and across the gardens to the beach and the ocean beyond. The infinity blue-tiled pool and the Jacuzzi are located in the centre of the courtyard where the L-shape made by the pool and spa wraps around a tile-roofed sala, furnished with teak armchairs and a chaise-longue.The first living pavilion is at the rear of the property and gives views through the grounds to the beach. It houses a very comfortable open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, and is furnished with a mixture of natural materials such as water-hyacinth and teak woods, and the colourful soft furnishings give the room a very welcoming feeling. Its spaciousness is emphasised by the vaulted wooden beamed ceiling and the floor to ceiling fold-away glass doors. Individual pieces of Thai furniture add character, such as the hand-carved teak coffee table depicting a jungle scene complete with elephants. At the back of this living room is the fully fitted and equipped western kitchen, with dark wood units and chrome appliances.Directly in front of this pavilion is a beautifully manicured grass area with decking for sun beds and a collection of wooden lamps and ornaments. The al fresco dining area is to the right, where there is also a planted area and a stone statue water feature. Just beyond you will find the well-fitted outdoor kitchen, similar in design to the indoor kitchen, and a bar fashioned from a reclaimed teak wagon-wheel. There's a further lawn, a reclaimed teak swing bench and another outdoor dining spot.The other two pavilions house the four double bedroom suites. In the first, there are two double en-suite bedrooms and a further lounge. The first double bedroom looks onto the pool and is stylishly furnished and accessorised. The en-suite bathroom has an indoor and an outdoor shower. The second double bedroom is a replica of the first and it too has been accessorized with colourful silks and artworks. There is a living area with comfortable sofas and seats at the front of this pavilion, and a large flat screen TV. This room has incredible views over the garden, the beach and the sea. You can also relax and enjoy the peace of the location from the furnished terrace at the front.The remaining two bedroom suites are situated in the last of the pavilions. The master suite has its own terrace at the front giving views across the garden and the beach, and inside there is a large bed covered with Thai silks, a seating area and coffee table and another chaise-longue. Modern Thai artwork adorns the wall above the bed and adds to the impact of the room. The large en-suite bathroom features an indoor and outdoor shower as well as a luxurious outdoor bathtub.Behind the master suite is a further well-furnished and attractive double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, which also offers an indoor and outdoor shower. This is a particularly striking room with Thai artwork and silk throws and cushions, all following the room's orange theme. The final touch is a signature orange sofa facing out over the garden and pool.Stepping-stones lead from the terraces of both the master suite and the living area across the expanse of lawn to the gate that accesses the beach. A natural screening of planted bamboo, providing privacy without affecting the views, encloses the whole garden area. Open the bamboo gate and you are on the beach, which is wide and flat. To the left is a peninsula of natural rock formations adding to the beauty and privacy of this bay.
