Beautiful, family-friendly smoke-free 2 bedroom/2 bathroom, Balinese-style condo. Many upgrades (new sleeper-sofa with tope-of-the-line 8.5" coil spring mattress, 3 new A/C units, 3 new flat-screen TV's, Playstation and more)! The TV in the living room is a 50" Smart TV with access to Netflix and more! We recently purchased all new beds for both bedrooms -- VERY comfortable! We also upgraded to stainless steel kitchen appliances.

The Aina Nalu resort sits on 9 lush acres in a tropical, garden setting. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the abundance of flowers and greenery add a sense of tranquility, right in the heart of old Lahaina town.

Within the last few years, Aina Nalu added a second swimming pool and gorgeous pavilion to the grounds. The pavilion comes complete with a large flat-screen TV, vending machines, eating area, wet bar, restrooms and plenty of comfy seating. It is an open-air building right beside the saline pool, which provides shade when needed, while allowing parents to watch the kids in the pool. It's a great gathering place for meals, parties or just hanging out.

Our condo is on the second (top) floor and has lovely cathedral ceilings, making it feel more spacious and light than the ground floor units. We are situated in one of the best locations within Aina Nalu. Our condo is only steps away from BOTH swimming pools - a much sought-after location! Our fully stocked kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare meals on those occasions when you don't feel like eating out. We also have a washer and dryer in the unit.

We supply several large plush beach towels, boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs/umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear, beach mats and sand toys. Come and find our little piece of paradise and soak up the Maui vibes! You'll never want to leave!
Area Information
The town of Lahaina was once the capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii, before Honolulu reclaimed that title. It was the center of the whaling industry back in the early 1800's. Today, this beautiful town on the west side of Maui is a favorite spot for tourists - for a lot of reasons. Famous Front Street (just a block and a half from our condo) is a bustling street with a wide range of galleries, shops and restaurants. It has been named one of America's Top Ten Streets. There is something for everyone. Imagine eating at one of several restaurants that sit right at water's edge -- the view is breathtaking! Be sure to visit Banyan Tree Square on Front Street, with its massive banyan tree. It was planted back in 1873 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the missionaries' arrival on the island. At any given moment, you will find hundreds of tourists mulling about under the tree. Don't forget to visit it at dusk -- you'll enjoy the orchestra of thousands of birds who congregate in the tree to mark the end of another day. Truly incredible! We have everything you need in Lahaina -- all services are available for you. All you need to do is pack your bags and get here! Come enjoy paradise!

Famous Front Street is just a block and a half from our condo! You'll find lots of wonderful restaurants, galleries and shops to suit all tastes and budgets. Right on the ocean!
Nearby Restaurants
Penne Pasta is a casual Italian restaurant, quite literally across the street. There are SO many wonderful restaurants on Front Street, a 2 minute walk away!
Transportation
Although you can visit Lahaina without a car, we would recommend a rental car so that you can get the most out of your island visit. Maui has so much to offer, and it would be a shame to miss any of it!
Best Time of the Year to Travel
Maui is a wonderful year-round destination. The temperature stays fairly constant all year, with the winter months being just 2-5 degrees cooler on average. Any time is a great time to visit Maui!

The parking lot is managed by a third party and the nightly rate to park a vehicle is $20/night.
The Lahaina harbour is a block and a half away and is a launching spot for so many of the tourists' boating excursions. Easy to walk to! Front Street is also a block away, with endless shopping and dining choices.

We had a great time and this was a good home base. The kids loved the pools and Baby Beach. Cool Cats Cafe was a hit, as was the Taco Truck across from the Catholic church. Star Noodle was great w/o the kids. Cheers!

Q: What kinds of fun things are there to do in and around Lahaina?
A: Book a snorkelling trip out of Lahaina harbour. There are so many companies offering day trips, sunset trips, etc. Our personal favourite is Hula Girl -- a beautiful way to spend a day! Take surf lessons at Maui Waveriders -- they guarantee your success! So much fun and you can walk right from the condo to their office in 5 min or less. Spend the day at Baby Beach (see in photos) -- a lovely and calm beach, perfect for the whole family. Stroll up and down Front Street -- we never get tired of that! Don't forget to walk over to Banyan Tree Park!
Q: What makes your condo special?
A: We have spent a lot of time making our vacation home warm and inviting. We have upgraded almost everything since we bought it in 2012. We don't want our guests to have to worry about purchasing beach towels etc. so we supply you with everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach. We also have a cooler -- pack a lunch and go exploring around the island!
