“Dream Weekend Getaway Stay”

Reviewed 11 Jul 2016

My group’s stay here for the weekend was phenomenal! Jenn the owner was courteous, accommodating and responded to my injuries in a timely manor. The process of booking the rental was seamless from start to end. My group did bowling (Summit Lanes), white water rafting (Poconos Whitewater Lehigh River) and the gun range (Sunset Hills Shooting Range). There was numerous amenities on the property and we had a memorial time from the spacious and stocked kitchen, gathering spaces, fire pit for s’mores, jacuzzi, pool table and the volley ball court. Everyone slept comfortably and enjoyed the 7 large bedrooms, having only 3 bathrooms was never an issue. There was a large kitchen with a vast amount of storage and 2 fridges and the comforts of home. We only stayed the weekend but we definitely took advantage of each second. The house is in close proximity of the major attractions, food and shopping. I would definitely recommend this rental and would book again in the future. Book this property and trust me you won’t be disappointed.

Owner's reply: Chris - Thank you for taking the time to write a review! The Poconos does have quite a bit to offer all age ranges! We look forward to hearing from you again. Best - Jenn & Cari

“Loved it!”

Myself, family and extended family had the pleasure of staying at Cranberry Lodge. My brother and I have carried on an annual golf trip that started of 40 years ago and wanted a special place to stay. Cranberry Lodge was it. We had plenty of room and felt right at home as soon as we walked in. We enjoyed the backyard the most. From the fire pit to the horseshoes to cooking on the outdoor grill. Every year at the end of our fun filled weekend we take a vote on the house we have rented. By a landslide everyone agreed we would love to stay at the Cranberry lodge for as many years to come. As a matter of fact I believe my brother is already working on reserving Cranberry Lodge for 2017. We loved it there and will look forward to staying there for years to come.

Owner's reply: Stephen - Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We are thrilled to have your group back next year, and the year after that.......Best- Cari & Jenn Jacobs

“Great times! Great house!”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2015

My husband and I celebrated our 50th anniversary in July and knew we wanted a big house in the Poconos to have our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with us. Seventeen all together-from 70 down to 2!! Cranberry Lodge fit the bill perfectly! With all the bedrooms, everyone slept comfortably. When we sat down to meals, everyone had a seat! Outside we had horseshoes, volleyball, patio table and chairs, and a ping pong table along with the fire pit which we had a fire every night. The little ones fell asleep in front of the fire, and maybe some older ones also. All this on 25 acres of wooded grounds! It was both beautiful and serene. We were about 20 minutes to Camelback Water park and enjoyed our Friday all day until 7:00 pm.. On Saturday, some did Treetop Adventures and some went to Bushkill Falls! Great times for all! And a great house to rent for a big family celebration of any kind!! But we won't wait another 50 years to do it!!!

Owner's reply: Eileen-thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, and for letting us be part of such a wonderful memory! We hope to have your entire family back soon! Best wishes, Jenn & Cari Jacobs

“Cranberry Lodge Review”

This lodge was beautiful. I have never been to Pennsylvania prior to this visit and I enjoyed it. The fancy pool table was my favorite spot in the entire mansion. The room I stayed In was was small but cozy. This room was was referred to as the Lavender Room. It is on the second floor between the master bathroom and the loft staircase. The scenery around Cranberry Lodge was breathtakingly beautiful. I hope to visit again someday.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much. I am so glad you enjoyed your time there! The cranberry lodge is one of our favorite properties. I think you will enjoy some of our other homes as well. Thanks!

“Superb and fantastic home and great owners”

Reviewed 1 Jan 2013

Our family stayed here for 4 nights, 12/25/12 to 12/29/12. The house was more than what we expected. everyone in our family said WOW what a home. There was a lot of space for our family. The owner Cari was a great help from day one that I talked to her. I highly recommend this house and will rent from this owner again.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much Cynthia. You and your family were wonderful and we would love to have you back again!

“Fantastic house for large groups”

Reviewed 23 Nov 2012

Came here with a group of young adults and found it to be very clean and convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and in close proximity to many area attractions. It had everything we needed, from a grill to a hot tub to updated kitchen appliances and televisions. However, there are a lot of restrictions on the neighborhood and the house itself. Additionally, you have to pay extra for linens, towels, and sheets. Also be warned that they aren't lying when they say you will have to bring EVERYTHING with you - salt, pepper, olive oil, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
