Lovely long weekend
September 9, 2014
We decided to get away for a long weekend and fell in love with the charm of the cottage. It was an easy process and we even rented the 25 ft. Pontoon boat which made it even better. My two girls enjoyed morning canoe trips to feed the ducks and evening cookouts on the deck. Everything was very clean and there was enough kitchen items for our stay. There are nearby restaurants, although we never utilized them. We packed enough for our meals and enjoyed all our time at the house and lake. Cute house, lovely part of the lake, and easy renting process - a major success. Thanks!

The perfect cottage

My family stayed there during Christmas.we found The cottage to be very clean and organize. It was nicely decorated ,and gave us a home feeling. The location of the cottage is very good, only 10 minuets to Hwy 400. We especially enjoyed roasting murshmellow with The kids at night and sitting around the fire pot. Rich an Melennie were vey attentive . I would love to come back during the Summer and Enjoy the lake.
Loved the house on Pine Cone

We loved this house! The owners were super nice and even put a Christmas tree up for us. They have beautiful furniture and very comfortable beds. It was immaculate and there was everything single thing we needed, already there. All we had to get was groceries. It had a nice backyard and we loved the whole house., I would recommend this everyone I know!

The bruised, bitten, bunged and battered tour.
August 15, 2013
Overall, we had a great time despite numerous misadventures prior, on the way, while there and on the way home. 1) Prior to leaving Dave was attacked by hornets and bitten by a spider. 2) On the way down Lynn had a stomach aliment. 3) I pinged Lynn with a bunge cord. 4) Lyne fell in the driveway scraping her leg. 5) Ken's boat broke down. 6) The cottages AC broke. 7) we feed 1/2 the mosquitos in Georgia. 8) I slide a suitcase across my shin and finally 10) Lynn walked into a wall at the hotel on the way home and got a black eye (poor Lynn). I swear every bit of this to be true. However, the house was everything we expected, the AC was fixed the next day. The dock is fine and the hill to the house is not to steep. The furnishing and bedding was fine and all in all we had no complaints. We all had a great time.

The cottage was tranquil and quiet the entire time we were there. I was impressed because our stay was over a weekend. The house was clean and met our expectations. We hope to visit again.

Princess Days at Lake Lanier

Six girlfriends who attended college together in the early 1970s gathered at this house after a much larger reunion. It was lovely! Of course, the main thing was our reconnection - laughing, crying, sharing years of life experience, but it was wonderful to do it in such a lovely setting! The beautiful house, the restful screened porch overlooking the lake and woods - it was WONDERFUL!! These 'girls' came in from Virgina, Florida, Louisiana, and Alabama. This was a great place for us! Hats off to the Kott family! Be blessed Kotts! We certainly were!

S. Lake Cottage, Lake Lanier

Quaint cottage with distintive charm, in a location that makes you feel that you are miles away from the big city, except that you are just a mile away from everything. Loved the screened in porch. The only drawback was that the web site says it sleeps 8. There are only three beds, one king and two queen that sleep six. We were expecting a sofa bed, but there was not one. So two people had to sleep on regular sofas.

My family and I had a fantastic vacation. Owner Evelyn's home on Lake Lanier is beautiful and the "things to do" list was very helpful. We look forward to another vacation on Lake Lanier. Thank You Evelyn and VRBO!
A nice place to stay and relax

My sister and i did a shopping trip to Georgia, stayed at lake lanier in this nice clean renovated home. It is a convenient location for shopping with all malls within 15 miles. A nice place to relax at night after walking all day. I fished every morning and late at night on the dock, caught two bass. Thanks for sharing your home.

Just returned from our stay at the cottage. No water to swim in,just mud.Houses very close and the people partied on the weekend and was very noisy.Hardwood floors were very slick. The access to the cottage is partialy on a hill and makes it hard to get in and out.Not much level ground. There were several bugs inside the cottage crawling around all the time.Found a huge cock roach flying around.Always bugs in the down stairs shower. The air conditioner quit on us twice. If I could have found somewhere else to stay and have not paid all this money for the cottage,I would have left.Never saw the owner. It is definitely not for someone with a handicap or an elderly person.I would not recommend staying here.
Lake Lanier Cottage
April 13, 2008
Our week at the Lake Lanier Cottage was great. The weather didn't cooperate which meant that we spent more time in the cottage. It was very comfortable and clean. The furnishings were very nice. I would recommend it very highly. The lake level was down so we didn't enjoy water sports. The place was located close to any shopping you would want to do but, still was very private. I certainly would come back if I'm going to visit this area.
