The waterfront ranch home includes:

King size master bedroom, en-suite bathroom, overlooks the lake & leads to very large screened in porch. Queen size 2nd bedroom. Third bedroom with full/double bed, overlooks the lake & opens to screened porch. 2nd bathroom. Great Views!

Living/great room with gas fireplace which opens to screened porch and overlooks the lake .

11/21 Well, it was another wonderful visit for Thanksgiving in your wonderful home. We had the grandkids & we celebrated his 1st birthday here. The weather was colder than lst year but we didn't mind. We huddled by the fire and celebrated family time together.

Lake Norman itself is the main attraction with 32,510 acres and 520 miles of shoreline and of course its compendium of over 11 restaurants which are easily accessible by boat for enjoying a drink or meal on their inside and outside facilities overlooking the lake. Cruises on the Catawba Queen at nearby Queen's Landing, which also has dining, bumper boats, two putt putt courses, tennis courts and summertime bands. Lake Norman State Park nearby has hiking trails, picnic areas, campgrounds and 13 miles of shoreline for boating access. Swimming beach at Lake Norman State Park is open from April 1 to October 31. You are only 12 miles from Mooresville (Race City) and Stumpy Creek Park, which has walking track, picnic shelters, three soccer fields, three baseball/softball fields, 9 hole golf course and boat landing for boat launching. You are only 35 miles to Charlotte, the Queen City & Carolina Panthers NFL Football, Charlotte NBA Bobcats, Charlotte Knights baseball, Lowes Motor Speedway The Ashville Mountains & Biltmore house approx. 2 hrs There are many restaurants and plenty of shopping nearby in Mooresville and Birkdale Village.

“So relaxing and peaceful!”

I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful, private and comfortable vacation rental on Lake Norman. The home is very roomy and cozy with a terrific kitchen. I was surprised by all the cookware, utensils, appliances and dinnerware that was provided. The owners are wonderful people and I'm so glad we got to meet and spend a little time together. This is a hidden treasure and I'm so glad we were able to experience it!

“Nice quite retreat”

Situated on a quite cove that is ideal for recreational kayak or canoe paddlers, if you have a motorboat there its access to the main lake but take nav. equipment and a chart of the lake as it is a big one. The house is very clean with modern appliances and is wheelchair accessible but once inside there are large archways for easy access to kitchen and living room but it has wall to wall carpet which is hard to push a wheelchair when the occopant 240 lbs. Also the bathrooms have regular size doors which caused us a problem, ok if you have a light person or child that you can pick up and put on the toilet. There is good air condition and lots of hot water. The path down to the lake could do with some improvements as it was hard to get down, at least for me. There is ia dock that you can swim off or launch small boats and not far from the house there is a public launch ramp on Rt. 150 if you have a larger boat. The area is great if you are a NASCAR fan, which I am not, there are tours to see the race team garages and in town there is a car museum that has a good display of old cars and NASCAR race cars. Also not far there is an old plantation house and grounds as well as a Rapture refuge which is interesting. We only ate out once and that was a Big Daddy's seafood and steakhouse, you can't miss it as it is on Rt.150 and has race cars on the roof, prime rib is their special on Wed. and is very good, the seafood was also very good I was told by the others in our party. Lots of shopping near by, all the supermarkets and big box stores are near by and you are not out in the boondocks with nowhere to shop All said and done we enjoyed our stay as did our dogs who could run on the side yard next door the is owned by the landlords. I would recommend this house to anyone who want a quite place with no one around to annoy you or bother your inn any way.

My husband and i are Germans and therefore my English is not so good... We enjoyed our stay so much because the house was so large, well in "Outfit", large terrace, very close to the lake. We didn´t miss anything!!

“Privacy on a lake”

The house was perfect. It was private and had plenty of room for my husband and me ... and our dogs. There was wifi, cell service, and direct tv in most rooms ... and, actually, 4 more people could have easily stayed there. The washer and dryer was great to have. We especially loved the huge back porch that is enclosed and has screens. There are tables to eat there overlooking the lake. We would definitely stay there again since there are no negatives.

“Fun on the lake”

Pat and Fred are very nice landlords. They have made a beautiful vacation home stocked with all that is needed to enjoy a month away from the snow of Ohio. The weather, though not really warm, was bright and sunny for 20 of the 27 days we stayed here. We enjoyed the walking around the nice residential area near the home. As for quiet and relaxing, there was plenty. Our friends enjoyed coming to see us and we had plenty of room to entertain them. We have already committed to staying again next January and February and are very much looking forward to it. Thanks again for keeping such a nice home away from home.

A quaint home on a small inlet of Lake Norman, at the top of the lake on the quiet side. Very peaceful, dog friendly and plenty of space to roam...Last house on the lane. Carole and John are very friendly and helpful.

“House on Sparkling Lake”

Our grown family of 4 enjoyed our 5 day stay at this comfortable house. The landlord came immediately to restore the TV connection when this minor mishap occurred. The various boats and welcoming note with courtesy bottle of wine were appreciated. We swam every day and rented a ski boat as recommended in the clearly written guest manual. A very positive experience. We will return again from our home in Florida because our daughter will be working in Charlottee for the next few years. Harvey Gerber
