This charming colonial farmhouse has been in our family for generations and is now available to you as your home away from home. It's like having your own exclusive house in the country for the weekend, half a week or longer for much less than the price of a fancy hotel!

Watch our cows graze in the meadow as you drink your morning coffee. Listen to the songbirds and watch the horse and buggies drive by as you relax in a rocking chair on the front porch. Close to Sight & Sound Theater, The American Music Theater, The Fulton Opera House, Strasburg Railroad and Museum, Dutch Wonderland, Antique and Quilt Shops, Tanger & Rockvale Outlets and Park City Center.

Farmhouse is located down a quiet country road. We have "English" and Amish neighbors and an Amish schoolhouse on our road. Great area for biking and long walks. The historic district of Strasburg is located a mile up the road and is home to more original 18th Century buildings than Williamsburg Virginia. Discover homemade ice cream at The Strasburg Creamery and pizza at Sal's. Shop for art, antiques, pet toys and more while taking a stroll through the center of town. Other popular spots include the 1719 Hans Herr House and Museum and Historic Rock Ford Plantation.

45 minute drive from Hershey Park. 45 minute drive from Ephrata. 1 hour from Philadelphia. 1-1/2 hour from Gettysburg. 20 minutes from Intercourse, Paradise, Quarryville, Willow Street, and downtown Lancaster.

Original, wide-plank floorboards are found throughout this centrally heated and cooled house. It's a delight to set your own hours and pace in the privacy of this restored, country home.
Q: What do you provide?
A: We offer a fully equipped kitchen. All appliances are full-sized (dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, stove with oven, toaster, refrigerator.) Linens, bedding and towels are provided. Also included: Energy efficient washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, hair-dryer. Baby gate available upon request. Upon arrival you will find a half gallon of milk in the refrigerator along with coffee, tea, and hot and cold cereals in the cupboards.
