Peace & Quiet on the Strip!

May 20, 2011

Okay, it isn't exactly 'on the strip' (it is one block off), but it IS peaceful, quiet, and secure, and an easy 4 minute walk to the strip and some of the major casinos (Bally's, Ceasar's Palace, etc.). A lot of good restaurants are also walking distance from here. The property is very secure with manned gates and gated under building parking. The bathrooms were well appointed and had plenty of towels, but do bring your own soap, shampoo, etc. Hot water lasted forever with both showers going, and the showerheads are the 'rainfall' type. The beds were very comfortable with different types of pillows for different tastes, and the linens were of good quality. There was plenty of closet space, and a tv/dvd player in the master bedroom. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking, dining, and drinking utensils including full size refrigerator, stove/oven/broiler, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and blender. All appliances are relatively new and very well maintained. There is also a full size washer dryer and an iron supplied. The dining/living space has a table for six; The living room has a sofa and a loveseat which makes into another bed. There is a large screen LCD tv, a fireplace, and free hi-speed internet available. There is a balcony overlooking the spa and pool area furnished with a table and chairs. The common areas are well maintained, and there are multiple pools and spas. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to repeat. We had a problem connecting to the internet, and the owner was quickly there to hook us up. He met us when we checked in and gave us a complete tour of the grounds and explained the 'rules of the road' for living in the complex. He was very cheerful and helpful, and really seemed to care that we enjoy our stay in this unit. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone who prefers a more quiet and leisurely living experience than the Strip offers, yet you are just walking minutes away from the action when desire hits you. There were a couple of issues we hope will be fixed. These include the kitchen sink where the faucet was loose and the hot/cold water seemed to be reversed. We were unable to light the fireplace (gas), but that may have been because we weren't doing it correctly. We didn't find any instructions for use, but we didn't need it anyway. The trees obscure a lot of the view, but conversely this offers a lot of privacy. We will stay here again if unit is available. Larry U
