A Very Merry Christmas!
February 16, 2015
It was my turn to host the family Christmas festivities last year. Some of the family had never been to Las Vegas and wanted to stay closer to the strip. My friend suggested Corporate Mansions so the whole family could stay in one place. I decided the Grand Villa Estate was the perfect place to hold Christmas. Their event’s planner took care of all of the details. The house was so nice and the decorators did a great job capturing the holiday spirit. I felt like I was on vacation even though we live an hour away, (probably because it came without the responsibility of cooking and cleaning). This was the first Christmas I was able to completely enjoy, thank you.
Horrible and disgusting!

It just doesn’t get worse than this. Not even close to the pictures or description on the web-site. I took pictures of everything in the review. Where to begin; 3 of the bathrooms were out of order. The showers had no hot water. Despite repeated requests and promises, they were never repaired. Water was leaking from the kitchen ceiling over the island. They had paper and tape trying to hide it. It didn’t work. Water was leaking down the 2 of the walls. Both freezers were broken. The plants were dead. Lots of lights burned out or not working at all. 5 of the bedrooms are tied together so you have to walk thru them to get to the others. All share a bathroom (which didn’t work). On 3 occasions, strange people just walked right in and went to the owner/manager’s room in the back. Very seedy goings on. There were some fried electrical outlets and there were exposed wires. Carpets were badly in need of cleaning. Lots of stuff was sticky/gross. 1 week earlier the house was used for a giant gay New Year’s rave party which is fine, but the house should have been cleaned. Packets of “stamina†pills were left out. Prescription bottles were left out. Attic access was left exposed with insulation and dust hanging out. A rat ran thru the dining area and there were droppings on the table in the morning. There was an old fashioned popcorn maker on wheels, but the inside was greasy with some old popcorn and mouse droppings. Part of the floor leading to the recreation area was just broken concrete. Even more loose wires in that area. It was so bad that part of our group wouldn’t stay and booked into a hotel. Despite the fact that the owner/manager acknowledged the problems and promised a partial reimbursement, we still haven’t seen a penny. He repeatedly promises and repeatedly tells us that he simply doesn’t have any money. No wonder nothing got cleaned or repaired. As a side note, one of our reps drove from Los Angeles to Vegas specifically to see the place before renting it. When he arrived the owner said he forgot that someone was staying there and he couldn’t take him through. Of course when we stayed, several people wandered through. You couldn’t pay me or any of my associates to stay there again. This may seem over the top, but I have the pictures to back it up and I will find a way to post them. This place may have once been a fun, clean and functioning location, but now it’s just a disgusting infested dump with multi

We had a last minute change in our wedding venue and sought out a place large enough for our attendance of 100+ The Grand Villa and the staff came through with less than 48 hours notice and made our wedding an event that we will never forget. The place is truly unique and you cant find anything like it for thousands of miles around.
Big Big Big and Like staying in a fairy tale

Just returned from this lovely estate, we stayed with 20+ people for my daughters wedding. Its more like a mini town, as its very very large.
The estate was really clean and bedrooms were spacious with two queen size beds in, the other rooms were just as nice.
Most staff were pleasant (not many English speaking maids though) and managed with everything we asked for.
We made our own entertainment. The wedding went off without a hitch and was done in a really professional way, well done to the hard working staff for a great day. We stayed a couple years back and that's when my daughter decided that this was the place she wanted to get married, I'm so glad she did as none of the 20+guest had any problems and all commented on the lovely home and grounds. Its that big you could get lost, would certainly stay again.
Really a great choice for our wedding !

It is a huge compound with about an acre of water fountains, grass, trees, its really green. The main house is hand painted and very classy. The staff was friendly and helpful. My wife and I are very happy that we chose the grand villa for our wedding!
