A Beautiful Lake

A Beautiful Lake
July 14, 2015
Our group had a wonderful time up at the Mich Lake House. It was excellent weather for bbq-ing and for getting out in the pontoon boat. The house had a well equipped kitchen and an excellent outdoor seating area. The property overseer, Craig, was helpful in walking us through the place and helping us out when we had a little trouble getting the boat started (we had flooded the engine). The only drawback was that sheets on a few of the beds appeared to be stained. Other than that, the place was well put together and a great value for the amount we paid. Would definitely come back again!
Peter: Thanks for your candid review. (And sorry to hear about the engine flooding; Craig never mentioned it!). We have spoken to our cleaning crew about the sheets. They were laundered before you got there. But they may have put on older sheets --- good reminder to stock up and recycle linens, right? Glad to have had you. Hope you come back! (Stop the California "brain drain!!!" LOL).
Best, Kathleen and Dale
We needed a place for our small company retreat. Since there are only 9 of us (before we grow), this property was ideal. We spent half our time working on our plans and presentations. We spent the rest re-charging our batteries at the beach, lake, and hiking. A couple of us even reacquainted ourselves with our golfing skills since The Rose golf course is less than 3 miles away ... and it's a bargain. Thank you so much for a great, affordable, working week. Our small company will flourish, we think. And MichLakeHouse helped!

We could not have found a more restful (but fun!) place to have our family reunion. The kids loved the private beach and lake; the adults loved the two kitchens, the views, the decks; and we ALL enjoyed the firepits. It was great that this was "pet-friendly" too. We couldn't get our Labradors out of the lake, at one point....LOL.
My wife,Sue, and I (and our kids) had a wonderful (away from it all) week at MICHLAKEHOUSE. Sunrise Lake is a hidden gem; so is this large, roomy, and very comfortable property. We'll be back!
