“Fun Group get away”

Reviewed 2 Feb 2017

We rented this home and the Bunk Haus for our group family get Away. Beware of the bathroom situation. The two non master bedrooms are not close if you need that sort of thing. The hot tub chemicals were way off and it needed to be cleaned, which I imagine is hard to do with that sort of rental.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the house and enjoy ed the open fireplace for late October evening. Loved the hot tub and being able cook when we wanted to. The rooms were spacious and inviting. Was rustic in design but very inviting. It was a pleasant place to stAy I would recommend icicle house for anybody who is looking to get away

“SO convenient, so clean, so cozy.”

We loved our stay at Icicle haus. It was so close to town, we could walk. We went for Oktoberfest and there was even a shuttle that picked us up and dropped us off at the Icicle haus. The Icicle haus has 3 bedrooms- all nice and cozy- the upstairs bedroom has 2 beds. The hot tub was wonderful- kitchen was great, can't complain.

“A Wonderful Experience”

Reviewed 17 May 2016

Our stay at Icicle Haus was lovely! The house itself is on a large treed property with sunny spots too. Everything there seems to be done for a pleasurable stay. We especially enjoyed the fine collection of art work and artifacts which are everywhere in the house. The furnishings are interesting and fun - even a leather chair with a tooled horse head. The master bedroom is huge, with a sitting place with two rockers overlooking the river. The bathroom is en suite with a large shower with 2 heads. The upstairs bedroom is large too, with two beds. The kitchen is large and furnished with everything you could want. Outside there is a large covered patio, and a deck overlooking the river. It was a perfect retreat to come back to after our long, fun days at Maifest!

A very family and dog-friendly rustic house with plenty of space both indoors and out. We had a lovely time here. Hot tub too!

“Better then anticipated”

Reviewed 4 Dec 2014

The stay was great. The inside of place was bigger then any of us thought from looking at the photos. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and other nice touches. Comfortable and cozy with the big fireplace and lots of windows. Well decorated, lots of seating. We will be back!

“Once again a splendid time!”

This was the second time we have rented Icicle Haus. It won't be the last. We enjoy the warm homey feeling of the place. We look forward to bringing grandchildren with us this summer.

“Excellent Getaway”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2014

This was our 2nd time staying at Icicle Haus and it was, again, fantastic!! There were a few upgrades since our last visit several months ago which were a great surprise. Already looking forward to our next visit! This is a great place for a family or group of friends for a nice getaway. The cabin has all the amenities that you'd need and the location is perfect for enjoying everything that the Leavenworth area has to offer. It's the perfect place, too, if you like to travel with the four-legged members of the family. Our dogs absolutely love this place :)

“Fantastic Place for Reunion”

Reviewed 11 Aug 2014

The house was very nice, clean, comfortable and well equipped. There were lots of interesting and locally themed things to look at within the house. Great outdoor space, seating all around the property. Just across the road from the Icicle River where people put in for rafting, tubing and kayaking. Very close to town. We loved our time there.
