fun....for young people!

beautiful setting and views; bed was very uncomfortable (could feel springs) and could not sit up in loft.

My son and I spent 4 relaxing nights at Eagles Nest and were very impressed with all the little touches that made this a sweet accommodation! All the conveniences in a really cozy package. Horseback riding and fishing near by and Leavenworth too! Telling all our friends and sharing amazing pictures of the views and more birds than you can count!

Awesome cozy little cabin with breathtaking views
April 13, 2013
We knew from the start thanks to the description, pictures and people's reviews that Eagle's Nest cabin was going to be the right fit for us, for our 2 night romantic getaway. It was even better than what we'd expected. The first day we had an awesome view of the mountains from the deck, there, right in front of us. After that it was grey and cloudy but still could look down on the river. We cooked most our meals here. The kitchenette has all the equipment you need. Just bring your food. Shower is so warm with lots of pressure. Easy to heat the cabin. We will definetly be back, maybe with our 3yr old next time. There are swings under the cabin with a slide. Owners very helpful. They take great care of this jewel. Price very reasonable. Recommend, recommend, recommend.
Little but great

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It is perfect for young couples with up to two kids. Steve took great care of us and made all procedures very easy on us. Would definitely recommend.
Does it really matter???

Funny, we never stayed here because we never got a response until now...several months after we tried to find out the rate..... Great Job!! People that do this in my company get fired...Try to give me a reason to rent your property, really, I am open....but let me know before I go into a nursing home...
The Perfect Romantic Getaway

We came to Eagle's Nest to celebrate our one year anniversary, it was the perfect place for us. Small and quant with a beautiful view from the deck, we just sat out all day enjoying drinks, reading, talking and taking in the view. The house is definitely snug but it's perfect for two people. We loved it so much we already reserved a return trip!!

The cabin is pretty small, but it really has everything we needed. We brought in our playpen and the baby particularly enjoyed the dangerous swings... :) I loved the fire pit and even managed to pull off some cooking. A successfull little weekend trip.

Perfect cabin to just relax, enjoy the silence and watch the stars. The cabin is comfortable and has everything you need to feel like home.

The cabin was small and clean. The views of the river and mountains were lovely. It is important for potential renters to know that the queen sized bed is in a small loft that is accessed by a narrow ladder attached to the wall. Once through the 2' x 2' opening, you sit directly on the mattress placed on the loft floor which takes up almost the entire floor space. The ceiling height in the loft is approximately 30". It is a challenge for an adult (particularly if you are tall, elderly, unathletic) to get up in the loft. The downstairs bed is a double.
Cozy, but a little cramped in sleeping areas

Breathtaking views and nearby Leavenworth/Icicle Creek area is beautiful. Sleeping loft is accessed by a vertical ladder thru an 18"x18" opening to a queen mattress; the ceiling is low and you have to crawl over the bed to lie down. The optional futon's cushion is both thin and very compressible so that you feel like you're resting on the metal frame. Granted, my wife and I are seniors, but still backpack and our air mattresses would've been a big help. This being said, this would be a great place for a younger couple to enjoy peace, privacy & beauty.
Great View, Lousy Sleeping Conditions
June 1, 2011
First of all, the view from this place is fantastic. The downside is that the sleeping arrangment is very poor. There is a bed in the loft, which requires atrip up a ladder, through a small opening. Once you get up there, the ceiling is very low. It's almost like sleeping in a coffin. The mattress on the futon downstairs is terrible. I left this property after the first night and will never return. Frankly, I feel that I was ripped off.
Outstanding view! Cozy Cabin!

The cabin is small with a small loft for the master bedroom. It was quaint and offered a great view of the river.
Perfect little getaway!!

We had an amazing stay at "Eagle's Nest!" The view was incredible...the cabin perfectly fit for two. It was so relaxing, and close by Fish Lake and Leavenworth. We rented a motor boat and went fishing in Fish Lake, and toured the town of Leavenworth before heading back home! We didn't want to leave our nest in the mountains..our secret little getaway overlooking the majestic mountains and the flowing river! But we knew we would definitely be back again soon. Would recommend this getaway to anyone!!
