Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Lima, Peru
Miraflores, Lima, Peru
May 26, 2012
Spacious apartment with attractive living/dining areas. Satisfactory sleeping conditions and plenty of hot water. Floors had not been mopped or cleaned and showed with dirt balls and dust. There were no dish towels or cleaning cloths/rags to help with the upkeep. Nice (new - ?) clotheswasher but no dryer. No bar soap provided. A second set of towels would have been appropriate. Able to wash the first set, but no dryer meant having to wait on the latter to dry - inconvenient. Location a plus close to the water and reasonably close to shopping. Neighborhood was quite noisy with constant sounding of car alarms going off at all hours. This noise was pervasive and was more disturbing than the typical traffic noise from the street below. Security was a plus with 24-hour guards who helped us with taxis and information, etc. Overall, not a bad place to stay, but it lacked the ordinary amenities one would expect from a modern apartment in a large city.
