Description: Honalee is where Lincoln City meets the sea and people come to relax and play.

Great beach house with a great view. Honalee has beds for 20+ people in five sleeping areas. Two kings, five doubles and seven twins. Honalee is ideal for large groups, family reunions, retreats and multifamily gatherings. Honalee also has four sofas, two upstairs and two down stairs.

The great room kitchen/dining area is big and has room for several cooks. The table is eight feet long and has chairs for ten people, plus there are four stools at the island. This room also has cable TV/DVD, sofas, plus picture windows to the ocean and surf.

Downstairs is another living room with cable TV/DVD, the game/bunk room has a ping pong and foos ball tables, so there are lots of places for people to go.

Beach access is less than two blocks. At low tides, you can search the tide pools for starfish, shells and agates. Bring your rod and fish for perch and cod or just swim and wade in the surf. (don't try this in the winter unless your a surfer) Winter storms leave behind abundant driftwood for cozy romantic beach fires.

Amenities: Honalee has a great ocean view, fully equipped kitchen, including coffee makers, waffle irons, toasters, microwave, and an outside barbeque. All you need to bring are groceries and your gourmet chef. Honalee has a great room with a view of Roads End Point, a modern kitchen with an island that seats four and a long table that seats 10 people. There are TV's with free cable and /DVD players.

Parking is available on the property for about 5 or 6 vehicles, and there is room to park and/or turn around your trailer.

Fenced and gated back yard with a young childs play structure, sandbox and horseshoe court.

Perfect place

June 23, 2013

I want to thank Scottie for a perfect experience. Because the units are pet friendly, I was concerned about the "wet dog smell", but it was clean and fresh upon arrival! This 2 condo unit was perfect for the mix of people we had. Bottom floor for those who wanted to get to bed earlier (grandkids), upper floor for those who wanted to stay up. Right at the beach so we had nightly bonfires, You are right at the beach, but the Shiloh's blocked the wind/cold and we all felt so comfortable and cozy. Other places were "nicer", but we felt right at home here. It had everything we needed, with the large balcony for eating dinners and plenty of chairs. We even cleared the balcony for a while and had some country swing dancing going on!!!

lovely home

February 8, 2012

We couldn't have asked for a better weekend at the beach for my husbands 40th birthday. The weather was clear skies, warn and sunny .The house was perfect we loved it. There was so much space and enough beds for everyone and very cozy..The kids loved the play structure in the back yard and enjoyed the very short walk to the beach. The owners were very prompt on getting info back to me regarding there beach home which was a plus. We are already planning another weekend to the beach in April and to this same house. The price was perfect and especially the 3rdhouse night free..

50th birthday on new years a success

January 5, 2012

We had a great time with 20 of our friends and relatives. There was plenty of space for our group to be comfortable for a few days. Enough room for cooking for a large group, and a wonderful view from the kitchen and dining room. We also enjoyed the close vicinity to anything we needed, including the casino. It would have been nice to have espn or wifi to watch the bowl games and do work online, but we stayed busy with other entertainment. Probably not as important during the summer when there is more to do outside.

2011 Dibble Family Vacation

April 7, 2011

The floor plan was excellent for a growing family with 3 generations present. This was our first vacation rental home and we will definately do it again! It was much nicer than renting hotel rooms, we enjoyed the convience of the fully equiped kitchen. I thought there was a hot tub, so my mistake disappointed the family some. A few details that created challenges were; the picture with the view was very decieving (the tree needs trimming badly to get the view it showed) sad husband, we could never find the remote and could not get the DVD player to work. All in all I am glad we stayed at the Honalee and we would rent it again! - Debbie

It was a beautiful house, we had wanted the bigger house at the beginning but our numbers were getting smaller , so Joe told me about this little bit smaller house, it ended up to be the perfect size for the family members that had stayed there,we will be doing this again. thank you Sara

A great place to stay!

March 11, 2009

We rented the place for our annual retreat, but I could not make it there in the last minute. But the people in our group thanked me for renting a perfect place for them to stay during their retreat days. The house is big, comfort, and the setup in the kitchen is so nice that everyone in the group felt like they were at home. So thank you very much, John and Linda, for making my friends feel like at home at your place.

A very pleasent time was had

February 13, 2009

Our church's Men's retreat was held at this house for the first time. We had a great stay. The ample amount of bunk beds would make this a great stay for 3 or 4 families. The only downside were the many stairs, but it was only difficult for the older guys in our group. The location was great (only a few minutes from everything) we stayed warm and comfortable too. The price was good too. I would recommend this house to any and all for a great stay in Lincoln City.

This was a perfect fit for our large family

October 19, 2007

The Honalee House was perfect for what we were looking for. There were 21 family members that used the house. During our stay my daughter became engaged so Honalee House turned out to be the location for her engagement party too. At no time did we ever feel that we were crowded. Everyone managed to have their own personal space. The ocean beach was just a short walk away. Believe me we took advantage of that. We would go often during the day and even managed to have a campfire on our last night in Lincoln City. We also made it to the casino a time or two. The very best part was that my Mom who is in her 80's got to sit in living room and watch the ocean and visit with her family. This ended up to be a perfect vacation for her. Honalee will be a tradition for us. Everything was great from the fully stocked kitchen to the fenced play set outside. Honalee House and the quick service we got is no doubt a five star affair.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

Hi John,

First of all, our stay was amazing. That is an absolutely fantastic house and it was a perfect setup for our group. Thank you for working with us and for the recommendation.

I just wanted to let you know about a few things due to the storm. First of all due to the wind, the screen from the main window by the kitchen table flew off. We went across the street and brought it inside. I was going to try to reattach it, but I thought it was best for the caretaker to do correctly.

Also with the storm, it was extremely hard to keep dirt, pine needles and mud from coming in. So we swept, vacuumed and mopped. I made sure not to let any of the people walk on the carpets so they stayed on the hard floors with anything wet and no sand was allowed in the house. But we left on our 3rd mopping round because we had to head back and roads were flooding and so I don't know how it ended up looking.

Anyway, the house was perfect. No complaints. You and the reservation process were fantastic, just wanted to let you know we did our best under some unique circumstances.

Thank you for letting us rent the house. Will you notify me by email about the deposit or will I not know until it is refunded on my credit card?

This was part of an e-mail I received afterwards, the group was 20+ women and obviously a big storm hit the coast.

We get many, many e-mails and from our guests. Some I pass on, but most I simply share with Linda. The best ones are in our memories. Sometimes when I have time and remember I post on this site, but as you can see by the dates, not very often. John

We had exactly 13 people attend our weekend event. Thank you so much for the great rental property. The house is great for large groups, plenty of room to visit and enough space to be on your own if you wish. I left some extra paper towels and toilet tissue in the house. I had purchased them for the weekend and left them for the next renter.
Thanks again for the house. We had a great time.

It's been a long time coming, but we finally purchased the new beach house. We have named it Honalee (yes, dragons and all that stuff) All dates are open to reserve. Honalee is only two blocks from Sea Haven (our other beach rental) so families that need two houses close together will have that option if the dates are open.
