The map and aerial view only show the "Mainland" view where you park your car in a gated parking lot at 12000 Placida Rd. You cross the street and board the ferry using carts at the dock to transport your food, clothing, etc. On the "map" you can see the island and the condos are located where you see the two "lakes".
This gorgeous island offers residents and visitors alike, a way of life that is virtually unheard of in today"s fast paced society. Visualize swimming in the azure, warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, with Dolphins and Manatees playing nearby. These waters are also home to numerous species of game fish, in fact, the area has become world renowned for Tarpon fishing, probably the most prized and challenging catch of all. The shelling here is unquestionably second to none and each day brings a new assortment of treasures from the gulf. And when each day is done you will be able to witness the most spectacular sunsets anywhere, each with its own unique display, amidst the most serene setting imaginable! This is truly the recipe for a complete relaxing vacation you will never forget!!

Reviews for this vacation condo rental in Little Gasparilla Island, Florida
April 27, 2010
We had a fabulous time on the Island and Carole was wonderful. She made the trip so easy and the island itself is so private and peaceful. The beaches had so many shells that you didn't know where to start or stop! The fine sand beaches went for miles with very few people around as it is private. You need to take a ferry to arrive on the island and it by itself is a fun experience watching dolphins. The ferry boat captains were friendly, just like a big family. The condo was very comfortable and had all you needed or wanted for a relaxing retreat. I will definitely be going back to visit with Carole again. Thanks again for a wonmderful time. The now"5 C's".
