A rustic barn conversion on the owners smallholding in a rural location within driving distance of the village of Newbridge-on-Wye near Rhayader and sleeping four people in two bedrooms.Ty Gwyn is a rustic barn conversion on the owners smallholding, in a rural location in the Powys countryside, within driving distance of the village of Newbridge-on-Wye near Rhayader. It sleeps four people in two bedrooms, one a ground floor double with an en-suite wet room and the other a first floor double with a folding double bed. There is also an open plan living area with stone floors, exposed beams, a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a warming woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking and an enclosed patio. With the River Wye meandering through the valley, there are lots of walking, cycling, fishing and canoeing opportunities here, as well as number of lovely villages and towns close by, including Rhayader and the Victorian Spa town of Llandrindod Wells. Ty Gwyn is a cosy and traditional cottage, perfect for an away-from-it-all holiday to remember. Note: No worker bookings accepted.

Note: The upstairs twin room has limited headroom and low beams. Note: Low beams in living area. Note: Children over five only. Note: The door in the sitting room leads to the owner's barn, this door will be locked at all times. Note: The only bathroom is the en-suite wet room to the downstairs double bedroom. Note: Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when outside, due to the property being on a smallholding with the owners dogs and other animals. Note: This property does not accept worker bookings.

Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: Rhayader is a small Welsh town with a selection of tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and shops, with the added bonus of a leisure centre and regular livestock marts. The annual Royal Welsh Show is just one of the attractions in nearby Builth Wells, where a great variety of exhibitions and sales are held all year round. The beautiful Elan Valley offers a wonderful variety of walks and cycle trails, as well as a visitor centre with cafe and children's play area.
