The most relaxing peaceful get away. Very nice, clean and private cabin we would highly recommend this has an excellent place to stay

“Grant's Escape and then some!”

Very much enjoyed our cabin experience. Nice clean cedar cabin with all the basics provided. Loved the Jacuzzi! Would rate a 5 star experience with a larger TV and coffee table added.

“peaceful vacation”

Reviewed 14 Mar 2016

We enjoyed very much our couple of days at Grant's Escape. It was such a peaceful setting. The cabin was very clean and very nice. I did not realize that no blankets would be available, so maybe that is something you can add to the list of things to bring. Since it was March, it did get a bit chilly sleeping without a blanket. Also wish there the remotes would have been labeled and instructions on how to operate the CD player. It may seem silly, but when it is sitting that high on a shelf, it was difficult to figure out which buttons to use, and how to use it without being able to see it at our level (and my husband is 5' 11). It would also have been nice to know how steep the driveway was before we got there. We really loved the setting and the cabin was beautiful, just a few minor things to know ahead of time would have been nice (blankets, steepness of driveway). Totally would rent this out again and will let our friends know how nice it is as well!

“A Great Cabin and a Great Rental System”

Reviewed 14 Apr 2015

The cabin was everything advertised and then even better. This place is really isolated and with only the sound of an occasional car passing in the distance. Dead quiet at night. There is no cell or data service which really is a welcomed if you are trying to get away from the city for a bit. Also right down the road from Old Man's Cave. The bed was a little hard which really was the only slightly negative thing I could find.

“Just what we needed!”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2013

The cabin was everything they said it was! We had everything we needed and the place was immaculate! The hot tub was great and the view from the balcony was awesome! Thanks for the enjoyable stay, we will definitely come back to stay in one of your cabins, if not the same one!

“Charming and Secluded”

Reviewed 1 Jun 2011

We spent our anniversary weekend here and were very impressed and pleased by our experience. It was even more secluded than we expected and it is very near the Hocking Hills State Park, which made for wonderful daytime activities. Having breakfast on the deck surrounded by the fragrant woods and enjoying the fireplace in the evening were highlights of our stay. It was one of those rare occurrences when the experience actually exceeded what we'd expected based on the pictures. We definitely would love to visit again!

“Amazing Wedding, Amazing Honeymoon, Amazing Life”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2010

My husband Gary and I spent a short but amazing honeymoon at Grant's escape. The cabin was as beautiful as the outside view. It was so quiet and romantic. After hiking 15 miles on Sunday, we enjoyed a candlelight dinner on the back deck overlooking the forest. We then enjoyed quiet time in the hottub. This set us up for a romantic evening together. This well stocked retreat was just the perfect choice for a short, romantic getaway. It sits nestled on a wooded lot close to activities such as hiking and canoeing (which we enjoyed on Monday), but far enough away that it felt like we were all alone in a private getaway. I couldn't think of a better way to follow what was a perfect wedding. It was difficcult to leave such a perfect place, but knowing that this was just the beginning of my amazing life as Mrs. Roskuski made it easier. We look forward to return visits ( maybe next year for our one year anniversary if not before ).
