If the words location, location, location are important to you this house could not be situated in a better position. Convenient to everything in Long Beach including restaurants, bars, shopping, miniature golf, arcades, horseback riding, go carts, the museum, ice cream shops, antiquing, the bakery the movie theater and more. It is all an easy walk from this house. No car needed once you arrive, but if you want to drive on the beach (yes, that is allowed on the Peninsula) the downtown driving access point under the famous arch is just one block away.

Let this relaxing well-equipped beach home be the classic vacation retreat you need for your friends or family. Have summer cookouts on the picnic table in the yard or simply relax and enjoy the ocean air. Let the kids or dogs play in the completely fenced in yard. Take an easy walk and explore all there is to see in Long Beach right out our front door.

The whole group will sleep well with a king size bed in the master bedroom, a pillowtop queen size bed in the second bedroom, a trundle bed (single top and pull out single below) in the third bedroom, plus a bonus full size futon in the living room. You can have your friends and family share its ample space with plenty of room for relaxing or entertaining in the large open-air living, dining and cooking area of the house.

Use our large dining room table to seat your entire party for a getaway from it all dinner. Curl up with a book and relax by the cozy electric stove on those cool winter nights. Be entertained by our high definition tv with easy to use dish network. Play games, test your skills on a classic puzzle or simply relax and read a nice book from our large collection.

Historically known as a fishing and clamming area, the Long Beach Peninsula now also boasts whale watching, fishing charters (inland and ocean), hiking, boating & kayaking. Enjoy easy access to Cape Disappointment in the south end of the peninsula, Ledbetter Point on the north end, Willapa Bay, the Port of Illwaco and Fort Canby State Park in nearby historic Astoria right across the river.

“Wonderful Long Beach, WA Cabin”

Reviewed 8 Feb 2017

We loved this fun in-town cabin. It was clean, homey, roomy, & close to everything! This is a great get a way vacation rental. The owner is great to deal with. We loved being able to have our dog along & there is a fenced little yard. The cabin is so comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked for cooking. The king size bed in the master is great. The bedrooms comfortable & roomy. We enjoyed the fun artwork throughout. You can easily walk to great shops & restaurants. There's a gently used bookstore within steps. The road goes right to the ocean, it's an easy walk. You can join up with the boardwalk or Discover Trail within minutes. The cabin is clean, lots of linens, & a flat screen TV with Dish TV. It all felt like a home. We completely recommend this fun place! Pat H. 2/2017

“Perfect Home Base for Our Wedding”

Reviewed 13 Dec 2016

My new in-laws, my maid of honor and my husband and I stayed 4 nights there and used this house as our base of operations for our out of town wedding. It was the perfect. Very clean with all the linens and dishes you could need. It was just a short walk from the board walk and beach. This house is in a perfect spot. We will be back soon for vacation!

“Great place to enjoy Long Beach”

Reviewed 3 May 2016

Perfect cottage right in the middle of town, close to everything. The home was larger on the inside than it looks from the outside...super cute and comfy. Very modern inside and had everything we needed. Our host had a handy book in the house to show restaurants, things to do and general information for the house. We enjoyed walking to the bakery, less than a block away every morning, then strolling to the beach right across the road from the home. The yard was fenced in and was perfect for us to bring our dog. If you want the experience of being close to beach and right in town this is the perfect house.

“What a great beach house!”

Reviewed 4 Jun 2015

Hi Noel, we had a blast! Talk about a great location for the beach house. It was close to the beach, yet only 1 block away from the bakery and any other shop we wanted to explore. Truly the best of both worlds. We were glad to have brought our bikes, as the beach trail was a lot of fun to ride. Again, we had a blast!

“Winter on the beach”

Reviewed 21 Jan 2015

We spent a weekend in January. The weather was clear driving from Seattle, then we awoke to storms and heavy rains. We still were able to go to Cape Disappointment Park and Leadbetter Point State Park, though some of the paths were too wet to navigate due to the heavy rains this winter. The home was well appointed, clean and easy to find. It is centrally located a short half block from the main street through town.

“Perfect Spot for a Weekend Getaway”

Reviewed 14 Jan 2015

I absolutely loved the location of this house. My own beach house is in Seaview and just a tad bit longer of a walk to downtown Long beach. Your place was clean, and had the perfect amount of rooms! Everything was thought of well before we got there! The house was perfect and ready for guests. Amazing place to stay, thank you so much. (Especially for answering all my phone calls!) We had a great time, and I hope to rent from you again soon!

“Great place, great location, great clamming”

Reviewed 29 Oct 2014

What a cozy home and an amazing location. It's just feet from all the attractions in the center of town; bakery, museum, putt putt, loads of eateries, etc. Great bedrooms with loads of storage. Excellent kitchenware for cooking up whatever gourmet delights you might have (razor clams?). It really feels like a home away from home where the owners (your best friends or family) will walk in any minute and kick back and enjoy the place as much as you.

“perfect location for active family”

Reviewed 9 Sep 2014

For our second stay in this house, we were travelling with two adults, two teenagers and a dog. The open floor plan of the house felt spacious enough for all, and the three bedrooms and two baths insured that no one felt cramped. The location is perfect for our family. The walk to the beach is quick and easy, as well as board walk and Centennial Trail. While my husband and I relaxed and enjoyed the local happy hours, the teens were able to keep quite busy. Also in walking distance...shops and restaurants, the arcade, movie theater, go carts, and the putt putt golf right next door. Upon arrival, the house was clean and ready for us. The kitchen houses enough utensils to cook for a family. The bathrooms were stocked, towels clean, and extras easy to find. Our family will more than likely book this house again in the future! The owner is very friendly, and easy to work with.

“Relaxed comfort & convenience in charming cottage”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2014

This cottage perfectly suited our group of three adults, one teen and one dog. Beadboard and slanted ceilings evoke cozy, cottage charm. A roomy living/dining/kitchen area provides nice communal space for reading, eating and playing card games together. Furnishings are clean, casual and not too precious, so we felt comfortable hanging out on the couches with beverages and a bowl of popcorn nearby. The location can't be beat. Walk out the door directly into town in one direction, or directly to the beach path in the other. The cottage is right next door to a used bookstore that also serves espresso and has five resident cats and two dogs, a huge plus for us as we love all of the above! Long Beach is an exceedingly friendly place, with locals eager to share tips about best places to eat or places to go hiking. We took full advantage of being within easy driving distance of two spectacular parks: Leadbetter State Park and Cape Disappointment State Park. There are trails for all hiking levels. You don't have to hike far to find seclusion in pristine forests and beaches. Finally, Noel, the owner with whom we made the cottage booking, is friendly and so easy to work with. I understand he has rental properties in other areas too, which we are likely to look into in the future. This was a vacation to remember.
