“Perfect for our family vacation”

Reviewed 11 Oct 2016

This home was a perfect rental for our annual family vacation. There are 14 of us and there was plenty of room. The home is very nicely laid out, the kitchen well stocked kitchen. There was plenty of seating for our meals. That it was on the lake and Helen had a paddle boat, a canoe and a rowboat was perfect. The kids just loved the paddle boat. Some went fishing. We went in October and the leaves in the Poconos are just gorgeous. There was a fire pit outside with chairs supplied so we had a lovely fire on Saturday night. There are two fireplaces inside but we didn't use them. It was supposed to rain on Saturday but didn't which made the weekend just perfect. Helen, the owner, was great to deal with, very responsive to all our communications. They had WiFi and Cable TV. We had to bring out own towels and linens but Helen supplied lovely quilts on the beds. The home is very well kept and clean. We will definitely remember this place for next year.

“Great Fishing”

I have nothing but good things to say about my vacation the house was everything that the web site showed it to be. The house was everything we expected, with plenty of room for all of us to enjoy the togetherness as well as if we wanted some privacy, the use of the boats was a great plus for the fishing we did all week as well the dock and the deck on the lake,me and my family enjoyed our stay very much.

“Beautiful view”

The house was great. Plenty of room for our family which includes a lot of people 8 adults and 8 kids. The kids had such a fun time swimming and fishing in the lake. Great location and was close to casino and shopping.

“Fun Labor Day weekend at the Poconos”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2015

Our stay was very pleasant. The house was in very good condition, the accommodations in the house for the most part were very good with the exception of one or two portable beds that were in need of replacement. The amenities inside and outside of the house (kitchen, TV, fire pit, the lake, ...) were very good as well. Access to the lake was great. The fire pit led to a lot of fun for both adults and children. The proximity to all the stores was also good. The only negative thing I can say is the location of the property. It is surrounded by private homes. Some of the owners were not pleased with the fact that we were outside until very late cooking, having fun and yes, making some noise. My opinion, this is a great place to have a family outing where after 10 pm you limit your activities to inside the house. It is worth the price!

“The best place to stay”

we loved every moment in this house. It was such a beautiful house, the lake view was just breath taking. We 8 people stayed in that house and it was big enough for us, we did barbieque and it was the best cause that lake view made our barbieque much more fun. Can't wait to go there again. It was just awasome and the owner were amazing answered each and every question of our. Can't wait honestly to go there again

“Beautiful lake house!”

We had a party of 13 people. Three couples with 7 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and well-maintained. The lake is very pretty and the children loved going out on the boats. The stairs down from the deck are a bit steep and might be difficult for older guests. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals. One day we went to Camelbeach waterpark, which was approximately 20 minutes away. I highly recommend Camelbeach. It was clean, easy to navigate and our wait times were not long at all. Parking was free, which is unheard of where we are from. The $15.00 to reserve a picnic table is definitely worth it. The house was great and the area has plenty of activities for everyone.

“Family Vacation”

Reviewed 17 Jul 2015

Beautiful, spacious home with a relaxing view of the lake. We had 4 generations stay at the home for our summer vacation. The lower level family room was wonderful. Nicely decorated, very clean, modern and seating for all of us to gather together at night. The lack of air conditioning was a slight inconvenience. The property was great for most of us, but the steps inside and out were a challenge for the senior citizens in our family. Fire pit provided a great atmosphere for story telling, and the dock was very easy for boating. The homeowner is very responsive and wonderful to work with.

“On point !”

Lovely place to stay. Private, spacious, clean and well kept. We stayed on MLK weekend as a farewell to our daughter who was leaving for the Navy. We were hoping for a lot of snow but missed it by a week :( . Nonetheless, we went tubing at Camelback. We also squeezed a memorable hiking adventure at the Delaware water gap, into the Appalachian Trail and enjoyed every moment. The backyard view of the property is spectacular. The lake was frozen and at one point had a beautiful fog surrounding the tiny island that kissed the icy surface. We will love to also return when the lake melts down for some canoeing. The owners were very helpful, kind and sincere. We highly recommend this Lakefront Beauty!

“Great House, Great Location, Great time”

Reviewed 14 Oct 2014

I just spent Columbus Day Weekend at this great house on a beautiful lake. We had a party of 14 (9 kids) and there was more than enough space for everyone. The house was very well kept and had every modern amenity you might need. The kids loved fishing from the dock and boats while the adults enjoyed the gazebo that hangs over the water. The lake was so peaceful & private yet the house is centrally located to everything the Poconos has to offer. We are already looking to book next summer.

“Fantastic time at a wonderful house.”

Reviewed 15 Sep 2014

My party of 13 and myself had a great time in this stately Poconos home. Even with a such a large group we never lacked for places to be comfortable and eventually to sleep which was good because we were pooped after enjoying some of the many activities (Specifically Skirmish Paintball) in the area. The views were picturesque and only improved once we took the boats out on the (still warm) lake. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and quickly responded to any queries I had. There were no hidden fees and once the house was checked they were quick with returning the security deposit. A wonderful experience through and through.
