Description of the Longville vacation cabin rental
This cozy upper level cabin / apartment is located on our private property. There is only one cabin, so this is not the crowded resort atmosphere that others experience. The cabin is newly finished and has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a kids' bedroom with bunkbeds, so we can sleep 4 comfortably. This charming cabin has a private entrance and a small deck so you can sit outside and watch the sun rise, enjoy the stars at night or simply have a quiet moment with a cup of coffee or a book.

The cabin has a well equipped kichen with gas stove, microwave and small refrigerator. You can sit in the cozy eating area and enjoy the stunning view of the lake. There is a brand new bathroom and a small family area for relaxing, watching TV or playing a game. All appliances are new.

We are tucked away from the noise of the lake by being at the end of a short channel - this gives us the best of both worlds -- quick access to the lake and all of the fun it offers and at the same time peace and quiet to simply observe without being in the middle of all the activity.

The cabin is at loft level, so there are stairs to climb for access, but that improves the view of the lake! You will have access to use of our dock, paddle boat and canoe. You can bring your own boat or rent one in Longville. The public boat launch is only 5 minutes away from our dock. There is also a fire pit where you can sit and enjoy the stars at night and look for fireflies while listening to the loons. This cabin is the perfect place to enjoy a smore at the campfire! If you have kids who are just getting introduced to the fun of fishing - they might catch their first sunny, bass, or blue gill right off the dock! We also have eagles, heron, and beavers who are frequent visitors to our lake front.

Girl lake is a small lake with access to the larger Woman Lake. On any given day you will see people on Girl taking a leisurely cruise on their pontoons, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, tubing or jet skiing. Most of these items are for rent in Longville.

We think this is the perfect place for your family to come and enjoy time away from the hustle and bustle. The owners are onsite and do have 2 dogs (a Lab and a Yorkie). The owner's dogs are the only pets permitted on the property.

Lovely peaceful setting

August 11, 2014

Really enjoyed our stay in Longville! The accommodations were very nice and away from the hustle and bustle. It was a short walk to town which was convenient and nice. The property owners were very kind and made our stay enjoyable. We made frequent use of the paddle boat and Girl lake. Had a wonderful time and would recommend this property. There were two of us and we had more than enough room and could have accommodated several more with the second bedroom.

Owner's reply:

Thanks Randy,

We sure enjoyed meeting you and Penny.

Wonderful Stay

July 19, 2014

The garage apartment was just what we needed for a few days to visit friends. It was cozy and clean and my family (2 adults, kids 9, 8, 1) was more than comfortable. Dee's family was very kind and generous and we would definitely stay again if we go back to the area.

Owner's reply:

Thank you, Erica. We enjoyed having your family spend the 4th of July weekend with us. We look forward to hosting your family again in the near future.
