Description of the Lucca vacation apartment rental
Libertas, your home away from home in Lucca
Libertas is an elegant, bright and airy two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in a prestigious Belle Arti protected building inside Lucca’s historic city walls, one of the very few buildings to have a private, underground garage. This private apartment measures 140 square meters and has four exposures over tree-lined streets and the palazzo’s courtyard garden. Libertas is tastefully furnished with contemporary Italian and vintage modern pieces and original artwork by photographer Olivo Barbieri and sculptor Not Vital. Well-equipped for long-term stays, the apartment comes with an Italian cell phone and rechargeable SIM card, free, high speed optical fiber WiFi, a Smart TV and a printer. Use of a parking space in the palazzo’s private underground garage and a permit to arrive there are also included in the rental fee.
The spacious and airy main room is a welcoming open space that acts as entryway, living room, dining room and business area. Thanks to northern and southern exposures it is flooded by natural light. The large B&B Italia couches can accommodate eight to ten people comfortably. The high speed optical fiber internet connection and a Smart TV make it possible for you to watch your favorite Apple TV or Netflix programs. The living area also features a DVD player, a CD player and radio.
The glass-topped dining table expands to seat eight to twelve people comfortably and you’ll find dishes, glasses and flatware enough for at-home entertaining in easy Tuscan style.
The business area faces north over a tree-lined street. High speed optical fiber internet is included in the rental fee and there is an HP printer/scanner available to use as you please.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a five-flame gas stove and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster oven and microwave. There are also high quality pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. The apartment also comes with the use of a washer/dryer.
The master bedroom is furnished with an original B&B Italia double bed and select vintage modern pieces. It has AC and a fan. There is also a walk-in closet. Sheets, towels and other linens are provided. Its en-suite bathroom has lots of natural light and is custom fitted in marble. The bathroom has a large pedestal sink, a toilet, a bidet and a deep tub with a hand-held shower.
The twin bedroom has western and northern exposures over a tree lined street. It also has AC and all linens are provided. The adjacent bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower.

Eat, Pray, Love this apartment in Lucca!

October 7, 2016

This apartment is in the perfect location, is wonderfully spacious and modern, and in the ten years that we have been coming to stay here, it has been maintained beautifully! The main living space is divided into the kitchen, dining, and seating area, all of which are comfortable with modern amenities, including a cell phone to make local calls, and a beautifully stocked kitchen with anything and everything you may need. Furthermore, the main living space stays nice and cool even in the warm summer weather, wonderful to come back to for our siesta! Both bedrooms have comfy beds, plenty of closet space and both bathrooms are modern and spacious. Finally, and most importantly, the owner is brilliant. She has provided a binder filled with excellent suggestions for everything you may want to see or do in and around Lucca, and we used it everyday to find great stores, restaurants, and churches that we would never have found otherwise!

Thanks Emma, sorry I didn't see you this year, but I caught up a bit on your news with your parents. Hope to see you all again soon, Clare
