Area Information
The house is in a Valley, surrounded by lovely small villages and mountains.
Great to feel isolated in nature, but at the same time with all the amenities.

The house is 5 min. walking distance to Quiroga (a small village with less than 1000 population), where you can find everything you can need (restaurants, banks, supermarkets, pharmacies, hospital, library, shops, bus and train station with everyday transportation to the main cities).

Just beside the house there is a very beautiful river to walk and you can arrive in 2 min to a very nice public swimming pool ideal for summer.
The area is well known to be an important place for winemakers. You can visit historical wineries through specific routes.

Hiking and biking is the best.
And we highly recommend to visit the Mountain called 'O Caurel', all the interesting villages and landscapes around, where the 'Camino de Santiago' pass by, and enjoy their summer festivities and octopus fairs.

If you like discover special places with no much tourism, you will enjoy it :)
