Description from owner

This cabin is just steps away from the pond and is a great place to enjoy the water or just relax and take in the view.

The main floor of the cabin has a living area w/ a 40 in. flat screen TV, Dining Area with a table that seats six, full bath w/ a tub shower, and a bedroom with bunk beds (single over Full). The fully stocked kicthen includes a freezer on bottom refrigerator w/ ice maker, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, gas stove, dishwasher, blender, mixer, plates, glasses and silverware. There is also a full array of pots, pans and cooking utensils.

Above the main floor is a large loft overlooking the pond with a pillow top king size where you wake up to a great view in the morning.

The lower level has a gathering room with a sectional couch where the family can enjoy watching a movie or it can be the place where the kids hang out and watch TV or play on the xbox. There is a bedroom on the lower level with a queen size bed and the laundry room as well with a washer and dryer. From the lower level you can walk right out to the pond.

Outside the main floor is a large screened in porch and a large deck facing the pond. There is a large gas grill located on the deck and a smaller size table for four to eat dinner outside. Also on the deck is the hot tub.

There is a hammock near the deck, a dock to pull a boat up to or to jump off of and a swim float to relax on and catch some sun. Cabin comes with three kayaks, a canoe, sunfish and sailboard. There several life jackets for both adults and children. Motor boats are allowed on the pond and there is a state boat ramp at the south end of the pond. Jet Skis are not allowed on Neal Pond by State Law.

The cabin has wi-fi and a telephone for local calls. Unfortunately cell service in the area is limited. Verizon seems to work the best.

Beds: 1 King Bed, 1 Queen Bed, 1 Double Bed, 1 Twin Bed

About the area

Lunenburg is small, quiet Vermont community and a great place to relax. Close by is the town of Lancaster, NH (10 mins.) with a Shaws Grocery Store, Dunkin Donuts, and other familiar places. Littleton, NH (20 - 25 mins.) has shopping and dining for all. Downtown Littleton is interesting to walk around and is home to Chutter's which has the longest candy counter in the world. There is hiking, biking, fishing, and golf close by. 45 mins. from the cabin is Franconia Notch with great trails for hiking, and another few minutes from there is Lincoln, NH with the Whales Tale Water Park. Santa's Village which is a great place for a family with younger children is 20 mins from the cabin in Jefferson, NH just past Lancaster on Rt. 2. Mount Washington is about another 25 mins. from Santa's Village. Getting to the top of Mt. Washington is a treat no matter how you get there, hike, drive or take the Cog Railroad. East Burke, VT is about 45 mins. from the cabin and is known to have some of the best mountain biking trails in New England. Depending on which week you stay there are various fairs and activities to enjoy and we encourage you to explore as much or as little as you want. Every Wednesday during the summer there is a farmer's market in the Lunenburg Square.
