enjoyable stay

April 3, 2010

Location of condo was excellent with the beach across the street and John's Pass two blocks away. The condo was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Office and maintenace staff were excellent. Pool and hot tub were enjoyable. Grocery store was a 20 minute walk away and the bus stop was right in front of the building. We couldn't have asked for a better location with all the shops and resaurants close by. Enjoyed our daily walks on the beach. Our only complaint was the weather. It was the coldest March on record!

Cleaning not up to par

April 14, 2009

It was disappointing to have to again have the carpet cleaned when we were already in the condo because of the spots. This was our 3rd year at Madeira Bay and the last two years we have had to mention the carpets. Also the basic cleaning wasn't up to par. We found paper from the previous renters and even found an Epi pen. I'm glad we found it and that it wasn't left behind in a room with small children. It was located by the end table. We also found a pen (nice one) and a pencil. The base woodwork in the master bath was very dirty but did clean up easily. We didn't reserve a space for next year. The cost of the condo seems to go up but the condition of the condo upon arrival has not improved. For the past two years I have had to clean and I'm not a clean freak. Mary Lou
