Area Information
Seafood to Sun, You'll Find it in Madeira Beach, Florida
Grouper Capital of the World, Mad Beach, or just Madeira Beach—whatever you call this beautiful Gulf-side getaway, you won’t have any trouble finding sun, fun and delectable seafood.

In Madeira Beach, the sun, white-sand beaches and emerald-turquoise waters invite swimming and sunning. Be a beachcomber for the day, or just sit and watch the action from the shade of a beach umbrella.

While you’re here, make a stop at John's Pass Village & Boardwalk. An outdoor shopping and dining complex, John’s Pass has more than 100 stores and restaurants (including Bubba Gump Shrimp Company), many sporting tin roofs and featuring water views. From the marina here, go deep-sea fishing, take a dolphin-watching cruise or rent WaveRunners.

In the evening, John's Pass Village & Boardwalk keeps the energy up with numerous bars, including Hooters of John's Pass Boardwalk West. Head to Village Boulevard for a refreshment from the Deck of Indecision or sip a frosty cocktail from Daiquiri Shak Raw Bar & Grill on Gulf Boulevard.

Madeira Beach hosts the annual John’s Pass Seafood Festival, held the last weekend in October. Taste fresh grouper and other seafood while enjoying arts, crafts and entertainment!
