Enjoy a mountain get-a-way in this cozy little cabin. Adventure Cabin 1 has two bedrooms plus a queen size sleeper sofa and one bathroom. The eat in kitchen opens to the living room with a wood burning fireplace so you can enjoy visiting while in either area. The cabin also has Cable TV, central heat/AC, and an outdoor fire pit along the trickling creek. Firewood is available for purchase at our rental office. Adventure Cabin 2 is next door for family/friends vacationing together and needing larger accommodations but desiring some privacy. This property is pet friendly, 35 lbs. max.
Within walking distance to Salty Dog’s Seafood & Grill, Country Vittles Family Style Restaurant, Fantasy Golf & Game Room, Elevated Mountain Distilling Company, Maggie’s Best (great local craftsman stores, ice cream and more) and Cataloochee Ski and Sports. Conveniently, only a 5-10 minute drive to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area, Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (historic motorcycle museum, as featured on History Channels “American Pickers”), horseback riding and golfing.
In just a quick and convenient 15 minutes you could be in Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street in Waynesville and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
This cabin is also is a short 30 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and the Harrah's Casino in Cherokee (even if you do not gamble it has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, Asheville and the Biltmore Estate & Winery, several micro-breweries, Bryson City (home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday), Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops.
Approximately, 45 minutes away in Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas. You are just under an hour to Gatlinburg, TN and Pigeon Forge (home of Dollywood).
There are paved roads for easy access. However, we do encourage you to utilize a 4-wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle during the winter months. Seasonally, we do experience inclement weather in this region, that may limit accessibility.
