Reviews for this vacation cabin rental in Maggie Valley, North Carolina
Not as described
August 11, 2013
The cabin was not clean, did not have TV or play station. Owner did not pay power bill and power went out half way through our stay. Owner owes money to others on the mountain, our groceries went bad because power went out. This cabin should no longer be for rent, please remove from rental list.

The place had everything we needed and was in a great location. It does take a while to get up and down the mountain, about 15 minutes, but as a result, it is very secluded. The firepit was great! The only disappointment was the mattress on the pull-out sofa bed. If it hasn't been already replaced, I would strongly recommend doing it soon.
Great little cabin

We arrived up the very steep drive with snow falling and approx. 3-4" on the ground. Didn't have a 4 wheel drive but had no difficulty as the road was clear. The cabin was perfect. The next 2 days were sunny and beautiful. There was ample down wood around to make an impressive bon fire outside. All the conviences of home. Great place to go and relax. Thanks!
Bill and Carmen,
Had a great time at The Peak. It's everything you said it was and more. The fire pit was so relaxing and best of all no neighbors!! I will be back thanks again. Chris R

Spent the week skiing in cataloochee. What a great time we had. Some friends stopped by they were impressed with the cabin and were thinking of staying here in the summer. It's so peacefull. We love the improvements you made since we were last here. We will call you shortly to book our summer stay. Thanks again.

We had a fantastic time at the cabin. It was perfect for what we needed. I'll be calling on you again in the future and sending any friends who wish to visit the area. I was a little nervous when it snowed but it was very light and I did not have to break out my chains. My friends from Ashville who stayed one night with us were impressed.
