The waterfall provides soothing sounds wherever you are. The large hot tub is located on the lower level with great views of the waterfall, the trees, and the valley below. There are movies, games, puzzles and books for your enjoyment, WiFi and Direct TV are provided.

Nothing is too far from Maggie Valley.

We take great care of our guests from the moment you call to make your reservation to meeting you upon arrival no matter what time of day or night that might be. After driving 4-13 hours the last thing visitors to our area need to face is the "hunt for the cabin" in the dark. When we meet you, we take you to the cabin so that we can explain how everything works, provide directions to the grocery store, suggestions on where to eat, and what to do. If someone in your group is celebrating a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, graduation, marriage proposal, wedding etc) we will do whatever we can to help make the occasion special by providing a cake, decorations or the names of local businesses who can meet your needs.

Creek 'n Woods Vacation Rentals is committed to making your vacation memorable, special, and all that you hoped it would be. When your calendar, body and mind need some MOUNTAIN TIME and a GETAWAY, call us!

Perfect celebration location
★ ★ ★ ★ ★

This house was absolutely perfect for our family gathering to celebrate our son's WCU graduation. The home is beautiful inside and out and very well maintained. The owners met us and showed us around the property. They even provided chocolate chip cookies and a custom graduation cake. I loved that it was completely decorated for Christmas and felt so cozy and festive. The drive up to the house was a little steep, but worth the drive to the top of the mountain. The view was amazing both day and night. The beds were super comfortable. I have nothing negative to say about our experience. It is a great place for a large gathering.

The best rental property we have ever stayed at !

Left on Dec 5, 2016 for a stay in Dec 2016
We booked this cabin as a last minute change of venue due to the tragic fires occurring in Gatlinburg. Through the years my family has rented properties in various locations across the United States. The owners Tom and Sue are by far the best we have ever worked with. From the welcoming home baked cookies, to the beautiful Christmas decorations and the basket full of Christmas books and movies - who could ask for more? When several families travel with small children to a vacation rental it is so nice to have the details like paper products, dish detergent, coffee and basic condiments well stocked. The place was in great condition and has a wonderful layout for a large group with privacy for those who want it. The kids made a game of counting the " bears" in the decor of the cabin. We enjoyed the view from the decks and hiking down to the playground and the steep hike back up! The hot tub was clean and a real bonus. The owners here have great attention to detail, plenty of dishes, silverware and any cooking vessel you would need - that is what makes this place stand out. The Weber grill with extra fuel tank on the deck is a real plus. Hopefully we will return!

Comfortable, beautiful luxury cabin
★ ★ ★ ★ ★

This cabin is both comfortable and beautiful, with magnificent views. For six women we found the bedrooms and bathrooms to be plentiful and sufficiently private, the kitchen to be a good size for several to work together, and the living and dining areas to be ample. The owner met us and showed us around and was very easy to reach if necessary. The cabin was clean and well-maintained. All appliances worked well, and had clear, "idiot-proof" instructions. The hot tub was particularly popular in the evening after a day of hiking and traveling around the area.

We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this property to anyone who would like to spend some time in the mountains in privacy, but with great comfort.

This high end but cabin style home had dream views, private spaces and amenities beyond our expectations!

Left on Oct 24, 2016 for a stay in Oct 2016
The personal touch from the owners was beyond any other rental experience we have had in the past. Being personally guided to the home and every detail explained was wonderful. We were also presented with a delicious cake for our anniversary. This property is especially nice for it's beautiful views from the decks and the lay out provides a way for everyone to get away for privacy. We had my nephew, the artist, painting from the deck, another around the corner reading and inside someone watching tv and making dinner. Every bed and bath had plenty of linens and the pantry and cabinets stocked with essentials. My only regret is that our stay was so short and we will definitely be back!

Great cabin

Left on Oct 6, 2016 for a stay in Oct 2016
This cabin is a beautiful as it looks in the pictures! It has 4 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen, 2 twins) and 3 pull out couches which are located in 3 different living areas (loft, main floor living room and lower floor living room). The cabin is stocked with plenty of items which makes cooking easy. It is located near grocery stores and restaurants which was convenient. I would absolutely recommend the cabin. The owner Tom and Sue were a pleasure to deal with.

Beautiful and serene! Just like home. :)
★ ★ ★ ★ ★

I rented this cabin for my bridesmaids to stay in during our wedding weekend. It was perfect! Tom met me at the cabin to give me a tour and was extremely flexible with the checkin and checkout time. Tom and Sue left some lovely treats for my guests to make it feel even more like home. Also, the cabinets and fridge are stocked with essential kitchen ingredients that you are welcome to use while cooking! The setting is beautiful and serene, and private. Just a word of advice -- the cabin is at the top of a mountain! Make sure you are driving a vehicle that is capable of climbing some steep inclines (paved the whole way).

Overall, I would definitely rent again from Tom and Sue again -- my fiancé and I actually wished this was our cabin.

Gorgeous Mountain Cabin
★ ★ ★ ★ ★

We absolutely loved staying at this spacious, gorgeous cabin at the top of a beautiful mountain in Maggie Valley. Every amenity you might think of was provided for us during our stay from every imaginable kitchen gadget to books, DVDs, fireplace, decorations, comfy beds, right down to the cookie jar full of home-baked chocolate chip cookies in the cookie jar, biscotti next to the coffee pot and fresh flowers in every bedroom. Tom went above and beyond in helping one of us find additional covered storage for a trailer we had with us. And then there are the breathtaking views, right among the tree tops from the large windows, the balcony and the porch! We highly, highly recommend this cabin!!!!!! We could not have been more pleased!!!

A great vacation cabin!
★ ★ ★ ★ ★

A really super place; excellent views; plenty of space for our whole family. Tom & Sue Knapko are wonderful hosts - we only needed to buy perishables when we first arrived. And the birthday cake for my wife was very thoughtful and much appreciated. As far as "Eateries" in the local area: the trout at the Maggie Valley Restaurant and the Italian food at Frankie's were great as always; and we discovered a new (for us) restaurant in Waynesville: "The Chef's Table" that is a gold mine of good food. You can bet we'll be bragging about this vacation home to our friends.

Amazing cabin with amazing views!!!!!
★ ★ ★ ★ ★

This property was even better in person. Well maintained, thoughtfully laid out and very clean. We had a large group (13) and with 3 floors and two decks everyone had plenty of personal space. Tom and Sue are simply the best, they were available to answer questions, give directions, check to see if we needed anything and guide us through the check in and check out process. The cabin had ALL the basics, from condiments and coffee to towels and sheets, which made provisioning for a large group so much easier. We loved the cabin and while we may not need such a large one in the future we would definitely choose one of Tom and Sue's other properties when we come back!

Dear Tom & Sue.
The house is beautiful. The kids and Grandchildren really loved it. I did not care to much for the height, but I finally got used to it. You have everything that anybody needed. We all enjoyed the rooms. The waterfall was cute. The roads were a little tricky. But we got use too them. I do not know else to say. But thank you again for everything. If you need anything else. just email us. We thread to leave the house the way it was. The view from the balcony was out of this world. The could formation was very nice too. I would recommend Creek N Woods to anyone. Thank you again. We all had a great time. Truly yours Charlie And Mary Ann De Barro

My wife said this was a great find and it was much better than she expected. The kitchen was fully stocked and had all the tools and condiments. The entertainment offerings and wifi were put to good use by everyone.

We plan on a repeat trip in the future.

Thanks Tom.

My family had a fantastic time staying at Tom and Sue's Creek n Woods cabin IV. The owners are wonderful people to work with. We had a few minor issues with the fireplace and the hot tub and Tom had a repair man fix the problems right away. Great view from the cabin, and plenty of activities in the surrounding area.

The Cabin was as described with such a beautiful view. It was well stocked with the things that you always forget to bring and the Owner is such a personable person. We took grown kids, grandchildren and ourselves to ski cataloochee . There was something there for all ages to adults with the hot tub. It's almost a bring you toothbrush kinda place. It was close to skiing and plenty of room for all including actually comfortable pull out couch sleeper sofas . Our family is really large and the ones that did not come could have. The tankless water heater is such a blessing with 11 people. The homemade cookies and morning Starbucks coffee made all of us feel completely spoiled. You will not be disappointed!

We loved Creek 'n Woods IV cabin in Maggie Valley, NC. We have stayed in cabins every year since 2001 & this cabin was our favorite. Not only is it beautiful inside, it also has a magnificent mountain view. The fireplace came on with a flick of a switch (so easy)! Relaxed in the clean powerful hot tub & looked up to see the beautiful leaves. So pretty at night looking at the the lights from all the cabins on the mountain from the rockers. Creek 'n Woods IV cabin was very clean, warm, cozy, & comfortable! The owners are very nice & well organized. We hope to stay there again!

Thanks for our amazing experience! P.S. the cookies were also delicious

A most beautiful and peaceful get away!

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving week of this year at Creek 'N Woods IV. Owners, Tom & Sue Knapko, immediately made us feel welcome and at home by greeting us roadside and showing the way up the mountain to their beautifully appointed "cabin" decorated for the season. Awaiting our arrival were yummy homemade chocolate chip cookies and delicious pumpkin bread which accompanied our Thanksgiving feast. The view from the main deck was glorious, day and night and hearing the waterfall so peaceful. Thanksgiving Day greeted us with perfect weather! There is helpful information at the house about surrounding areas and activities. Restaurants are suggested, and we were welcome to call Tom & Sue for requests or additional information. Our niece and her husband visited and enjoyed staying downstairs with their own family room and bathroom. John and I would like to spend each season of the year at Creek 'N Woods # IV, and we look forward to our return!

Beautiful home & area to view the Blue Ridge mountains. Built-in entertainment with large deck area, jacuzzi, grill and outside seating. Large kitchen and dining area to accommodate meals. Lots of extras left at the house to facilitate what I forgot to bring, even down to spices! Tom & Sue brought us a wonderful carrot cake to add to the celebration. The subdivision had a really nice , large playground area, which came in handy with 5 young grandkids to entertain. Beautifully decorated but felt very much at home.

Personalized service beyond expectation. The owners took us to the house and showed us where and how things, like the gas fireplace, worked. Fresh baked cookies, pumpkin bread and a hand written note naming us all personally. (We have a large family!) Made us feel so welcomed! They even salted the driveway after a snowing night. The house is on top of a mountain. The views were breath taking. The stars were so close you thought you could touch them! The waterfall was the only noise we heard. We prepared our Thanksgiving Dinner and lack nothing! I had kitchen evny, better stocked than my own home. We had more than enough room to spread out. Guys watching football on one floor and the teens on the other. No one under foot! We even all fit at the dining room table! No fighting over the bathroom. 14 people for 7 days and we never ran out of hot water or toliet paper! The beds were clothed in flannel sheets and so comfortable. The house was immaculately clean! The owners truly love what they do and take pride in their home. We are planning to do this every year. I'd better call and get in for next year before someone else does!

We stayed in this property for a weekend in Jan2013. It was absolutely fantastic! The house itself is very impressive, the decor is absolutely fantastic, the kitchen was fully equipped and the owners are the nicest hosts I have ever had the chance to meet. I spent my 42nd birthday there and besides the cookies, they brought me a birthday cake!!!!!! I couldn't believe it! Tom and Sue were extremely helpul and they brought us personally to the property. I have to say that the house is located in a very high spot and the road is a little tricky, but it was a fantastic stay.

We had a family gathering of four generations at Creek 'n Woods, the youngest just under 2 and the oldest 87. Tom and Sue made sure that we had everything we needed for a great stay including puzzles, games and movies. The house itself is stunning architecturally and the view through the huge windows is spectacular. The bed in the master suite had flannel sheets which was a very nice touch. The house is so spacious that 9 of us had plenty of space and privacy when we wanted it. My 87 yo dad said it was the nicest place he has ever stayed.

Our family has stayed with Tom and Sue 7 times and this stay was as usual very uneventful and we had a great time. Tom and Sue are local owners and take care of the cleaning and maintenance and our experience has been excellent. I have had experiences at other locations in the mountains and believe me, none have ever compared favorably with Creek n Woods. The premises are always clean, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. The only problem we have encountered is that Sue's homemade cookies disappear long before our stay is over.

My brother contracted with the owners for this to be 'home base' for our family during our recent trip to the NC mountains. It is gorgeous, spotless, and filled with everything you need to have a perfect stay. Spectacular views; truly comfortable; dining table for 10-12; two decks with tables rockers, gliders, and swings; a hot tub; waterfall; and ON THE MOUNTAINTOP. At night the winds blow through the towering trees and just sitting on the deck looking at the moon and stars is enough to transport your soul! Everything is close by: the Parkway, Cherokee, Junaluska, Waynesville, Santa Land for the kids, horseback riding, golf, lots of restaurants (don't miss the Sweet Onion in Waynesville), and even Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are only about an hour away in a gorgeous drive across the Smokies Parkway 441. This place is just perfect. Just perfect! And the owners are the most pleasant and hospitable folks you'll find.

Wonderful Vacation Home

Recently our family spent a week in Creek 'n Woods IV. Prior to our visit, Tom provided us with all the info and help we needed. He made our arrival so easy. The incredible attention to comfort details were unsurpassed - incredibly clean, well stocked kitchen, everything you needed and then some. All you had to do was bring yourself and some food. What was so special were the scrumptious chocolate chip cookies just waiting for our arrival, and fresh flowers in every bedroom - even a 5 Star hotel doesn't do that good!. All of our needs were given the utmost attention. The pictures do not capture the true beauty of this house. The cabin was just great - rooms very large, mountain decor lovely, breath taking views, plenty of room for everyone to have their own individual space, and an absolutely wonderful deck to take in the ever-changing mountain scenery. The waterfall next to the bedrooms was sooo relaxing. The cabin is a stone's throw from lots of recreation facilities and tourist areas - white water rafting, fly fishing, tubing, Biltmore, Asheville, Great Smokey Mountain Railroad - there was something for everyone to enjoy, and we did. At the end of the day, appetizers and drinks on the deck with the great view hit the spot. We all commented on how fortunate we were to have found this wonderful get away. Tom and Sue were the perfect hosts - ever ready to help, caring, informative - we felt as if they were our best friends. As you can see, we had a wonderful time, would highly recommend this for family get togethers, and just relaxing. We would definitely return

Spectacular log home at the top of the world

With 9 family members spread across 3 states (FL, Ga and Va), Creek N Woods IV was the ideal place for our annual family get-together. The 4 bedrooms (on 3 levels) worked out perfectly. The views from this meticulously-maintained home ... which sits as close to the top of the mountain as you can get ... were breath-taking. The owners (Tom and Sue) are awesome! Not only did Tom personally meet us at the base of the mountain and lead us up the mountain (an adventure in its own right), but he also took the time to show us around the home which was extremely helpful. They also went way 'above and beyond' when it comes to hospitality. Not only were there fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us, but Tom also had another surprise for us: a beautifully decorated cake to celebrate our 40th anniversary (complete with ice cream I might add). Southern hospitality at its absolute finest! Was a little concerned at first that the Maggie Valley area wouldn't have much for our 3 grandchildren (ages 3, 4 and 7) to do, but that turned out to be a non-factor. We took them to find the elk in Cataloochee Valley, and on two separate hikes into the mountains (all three hiked all the way to the top of Richland-Balsam Mountain, and back down again). 'Ghost Town in the Sky' had just partially reopened the day before our arrival, and there are a couple of miniature golf places in town. We also took the opportunity to visit Cherokee, NC and to see the outdoor play 'Unto These Hills'. My son and daughter (both marathon runners) found some great places to run in the area, including down to the base of the mountain and back up again (strange kids). Overall, a fun-filled several days at a wonderful, secret hideaway on the top of a mountain. Many, many thanks to Tom and Sue for their generosity and hospitality. We'll definitely recommend Creek N Woods IV to all our friends and hope to stay there again for some of our future annual family get-togethers.

We have rented several vacation homes throughout my years and have never experienced anything like what Tom and Sue have to offer. Find out for yourself, I promise you will not be disappointed.

We have given up trying to find adequate words to describe our wonderful/winter/mountain/family/snow skiing vacation at the Creek "N"Woods - Home Number IV. The only word that comes close to being adequate is ---spectacular. The owners of Home - Number IV have spent tireless efforts to make sure everything was perfect!! Their attention to details was "amazing!" Everything(and we mean everything)was provided. There was "absolutely nothing" any of us needed/wanted that was not provided. The home was so beautifully decorated with a mountain theme and so so comfortable. We have rented several homes at the beach and in the mountains and it always takes us hours (or in some cases a few days) to feel at home. All of us agreed "we all felt right at home in minutes at their home." Again - the home was "spectacular" -- our entire family is looking forward to returning in 2013 - 2014 - and on and on.

Our Cabin Stay

Staying at Creek 'n Woods IV is a must! The cabin is on top of the mountain with panaromic views and the pictures do no justice! We stayed as a family with a total of ten of us and had plenty of room and plenty of beds for everyone. The cabin was beautifully decorated with holiday decor and a beautiful tree! Tom and Sue did a great job at hand picking the furnishings. We will definately stay there again. Note to the wise if the weather begins to freeze beware the road is very steep. But once there the accomidations are worth the drive!

We loved the space & all of the little touches that made it extra special. Tom & Sue are wonderful and took care of us. We loved the experience & will definitely come back again when we need to de-stress!

Such an unforgettable weekend!

There is really no way to make this home any more enjoyable; it is all you would ever want in a mountain vacation resort!

Great Place to stay and enjoy the Mountains

Left on Oct 27, 2011 for a stay in Oct 2011
We have held our annual family mountain retreat with the Knapco's 6 years and have never been disappointed. Creek N Woods IV is accessible by paved road, is near the top of the mountain, but close to all of the Maggie Valley area. The home is beautiful and big enough for all the family. The owners actually do the cleaning and maintenance and we have never found a problem when checking in. All we have to do is check in, sit on the porch and enjoy the peace and quiet while eating some of Sue's wonderful cookies. My only complaint is that the cookies never seem to last more than a day.

Beautiful Cabin

We visited Maggie Valley again this year with two families consisting of 5 children and we absolutely loved this cabin. It was helpfully stocked with essentials. The view was breathtaking and worked wonderfully with children ranging from 9 to 17. Everyone enjoyed their stay and we hope to do it again next year.

Everthing here was a class act

A $1,000,000 is correct and everything inside was a class act. We were 9 ladies on a quilt retreat for 4 days had a wonderful time sewing and shopping in the area. Lots of nice Resturants and tom and sue were very helpful and accomadating. We will return to do it all again

It's not a Million Dollar View, It's a Two Million Dollar View!

What a georgeous cabin! Spacious, clean, and well appointed, our time there created memories we'll never forget. Tom and Sue could not have been nicer, insuring such a memorable stay. We'll return next year to a retreat that is beyond compare. Thanks Tom and Sue!

Relax Here!

Lovely, large home. Immaculately clean. Comfy beds. Plenty of room to spread out and relax...even with several kids along. Great views and cool breeze from porch. Everything you need in the kitchen with some home baked goodies there to make it feel like home. At the top of a curvy steep mountain road but that adds to the feeling of escaping the world for a few days.

Wonderful place for some quiet family time together.

Our family of 12 truly enjoyed our time in Maggie Valley and the cabin was perfect for us. We especially enjoyed the huge table that was perfect for enjoying meals together. Tom and Sue were so nice and have thought of everything to make our stay so much fun.

Our extended family visited Maggie Valley for a family wedding nearby and this cabin was amazing! We expected it to be nice but we were thrilled at the beauty and the comfort of this home. It truly felt like we were visiting our home away from home! We hope to gather there again!

This is a great, spacious and very well-maintained cabin. We had a terrific visit and plan to come back.

My husband and I traveled to Maggie Valley to retreat with 6 other couples. Prior to our arrival Mr Knapko was excellent. He was very helpful and extremely organized in making sure we received pertinent information about the cabins, directions, itinerary info, etc. Even after the trip he followed up expediently with the deposit and Thanking us for staying. The personalized customer service was the very best that we have ever received and we travel very often around the us and abroad. When we arrived the cabin itself, cleanliness, and the accommodations blew us away. There were 7 couples and initially were anxious to see how private the areas were but the cabin was completely accommodating for all 14 of us. The view was amazing and it was an amazing experience. My husband and I planned this for our friends and they continue 2 weeks later to rave about how much they enjoyed the trip. We never would have thought that we would try to find a reason to travel to this area again but we definitely would simply to stay in this lovely retreat!

Our vacation to Creek 'n Woods IV was outstanding from the very moment we arrived until the minute we left. Not only were there warm cookies prepared just for us but also a hand written note on the kitchen island welcoming us "home." Because our family arrived late in the evening to North Carolina there was even frozen pizza should we need it. The cabin was amazingly clean and beautifully decorated on the inside and out. There was plenty of room for our family of four and two grandparents to share family togetherness as well as to have private time. Mr. Knapko quickly attended to a broken refrigerator on our first full day. When it couldn't be repaired he had another brought in that very day. Mr. Knapko was also helpful to offer and help us plan some fun events that our family enjoyed. We were so sad to leave Creek 'n Woods. I would love to live there.

My husband and I and our three children and their families )four grandchildren) had a grand time. We looked for a place to comfortably house eleven and we were fortunate to find Creek in Woods IV. Three levels of comfortable spacious living allowed all ages to find their own niche and when we all were together on the main level, there was still plenty of space. The Knapkos told us to let them know of any single thing that was needed, and we found none. We even entertained 6 more family members one day and still had plenty of room and everything we needed in the kitchen, etc. Ages 5 to 68, and we all had a good time.

We had a group of eight on motorcycles that stayed at the cabin and other than the verical driveway to the house, our stay was amazing. The cabin provided us all the comforts of home with spacious living quarters, a fully complimented kitchen and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the hottub while overlooking the beautiful landscape of the mountains. If your looking for a nice weekend getaway this is the cabin to rent!

This experience was so wonderful. We had a group of 3 couples and some single guys. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed the kitchen, hot tub, multiple family rooms and the view was amazing. This cabin is the very last cabin at the top of the mountain. Maggie Valley was also fun, but we spent most of our time relaxing at home.

Our second visit to this lovely home. It is very comfortable and has all of the ingredients for a relaxing vacation: well-stocked kitchen utencils, cozy fireplace, enchanting waterfall sound, great televisions for sports/movies, comfortable beds and outstanding views. The first visit we came with extended family and they all loved the home. The second time we visited we came with two other families and were a little crowded...our fault!

Staying at Creek N Woods IV is like dining in a fine 5 Star restaurant--clean, great service, nicely decorated, excellent food and all you must do is sit back, have a good time and enjoy. We started staying with Sue and Tom at Creek N Woods I several years ago and moved up to a larger place as our family grew. The service is second to none beginning with Tom meeting us to direct us to the home, the homemade cookies, gourmet coffee, assistance with events and directions, and help in retrieving items we forgot at checkout. Yes, the view is gorgeous, the furnishings including kitchen items are the best, and the facility beautiful and accommodating but the better part is that Tom and Sue are the owner-operators. They clean and maintain to prepare the home for each visitor and therefore are able to know what needs to be done and do it. All you have to do is sit back, relax, have a good time and enjoy!!! We look forward to our next visit.

I put a lot of thought in the places I stay when I travel. I am wheelchair bound which requires certain things that the average person wouldn't need. My needs were meet and our host was more than gracious in providing what we required. The property is in a wonderful location and is easily accessable to the attractions in the area. Not your average rental. All the furnishings were above what you would expect to see and we had no problems with anything during our stay.

We celebrated Mom's 79th birthday up there and I have to say that Tom and Sue thought of everything, including a cake! Homemade cookies and fresh flowers greeted us inside the home. The babbling brook was so relaxing to listen to we lost ourselves in our thoughts there. We loved the hot tub too! We were so relaxed and happy, we extended our stay an extra day! The property was immaculate, well maintained and had a great parking lot, which made it easy for multiple vehicles to park. I can't wait to go time I want the biggest cabin so our friends can come too!

We had a group of 12 friends come to the cabin from Florida for our annual trip. The cabin was exactly what we were hoping for - it had plenty of room, beautiful views, and was even decorated for the Christmas holidays. Tom was extremely friendly and easy to deal with. Thanks for our amazing experience! P.S. the cookies were also delicious
