About the area

Snowcreek Information Beautifully landscaped Snowcreek offers luxurious grassy knolls, spas, saunas, and a quiet neighborhood. Enjoy a hike in the meadow or a cross country ski trek while taking in nature's majesty. Mammoth Lakes Information There's no limit to the exhilarating experiences and adventures you can have in Mammoth - fish in our many lakes and streams, tee it up at California's highest golf courses, hike in the backcountry and celebrate in the mountains. Winter Winters in Mammoth Lakes are famous for huge snow packs. Recently over 600 inches have fallen in one season. Mammoth offers more days on the hill than any resort in California. 350 skiable acres. 3,100 ft. vertical drop. 150 trails. 29 lifts. In addition to the exceptional skiing and snowboarding you will find miles of trails for snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, all with magnificent views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains! Summer Summer, Mammoth's "other" season, brings even more opportunity for recreation: Golf, hiking, horseback riding or just soaking in the sun. For the avid mountain biker, Mammoth Mountain Bike Park offers some of the most diverse and challenging terrain around. The Eastern Sierra is also world famous for trout fishing. Many other events are held throughout the summer; Mammoth Lakes Jazz Jubilee, Bluesapalooza and Festival of Beers, arts and crafts festivals, Fourth of July parade and fireworks, Fireman's Picnic, just to name a few. Fishing Beginner to expert anglers can fish for trout at more than 400 lakes and 1,100 miles of streams in the Inyo National Forest area. Numerous derbies are held during the Summer. Hiking Over thirty trail heads provide access to the 1,303,477 acres of wilderness backcountry for hikers seeking to escape into primitive and pristine areas. Trails of easy, moderate and strenuous ability lead to Alpine lakes and creeks, the John Muir Trail and the Ansel Adams Wilderness. o Devil's Postpile National Monument is located in Red's Meadow. The columns of basalt were formed approx. 900,000 years ago when a lava flow slowed and began to cool and crack. Temperatures deep within the lava bed were uniform enough to produce six-sided columnar joints, 40 to 60 feet high resembling a giant pipe organ, polished to a shine by later glacial action. o Rainbow Falls is located downstream from the Devil's Postpile. The headwaters of the San Joaquin River flows over an abrupt 101-foot drop, sending rainbows of color into the midst. Truly a sight that is breathtaking short hike. Golf The Sierra Star Golf Course is a championship 18-hole, par 71 layout nestled within a shelter of Jeffrey Pines and White Fir, where each hole offers its own spectacular view. Tree-lined fairways, well-trapped greens, and numerous lakes and ponds make this course another challenging golf experience for the low handicap golfer, and also very enjoyable for the occasional recreational player. Snowcreek Golf Course, is nestled alongside the majestic Sherwin mountain range, the course provides spectacular, scenic enjoyment for players of every level. Snowcreek is noted for its elevated greens, multiple bunkers, and extensive use of tranquil lakes and streams. Snowcreek Golf Club offers a driving range, and putting green.

First time at Mammoth Lake - + missed horrible weather in central/eastern US ( from Missouri), awesome free bus transportation, clean, warm and spacious condo, extra pleasant people everywhere ; - not huge amount of snow, prices!! Great value in this condo - highly recommended

Cozy place with mountain views. Price was great for it's size. There were 10 of us- plenty of room. Water heater had turned off. We don't have a lawyer or a doctor in the family- but good thing we had a contractor with us who hooked it up in seconds! (; Def. would stay again.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed
our stay at your beautiful condo. We were spoiled
by the accommodations. The house had every
amenity and couldn't have been cleaner. The
pictures and reviews don't do it justice. Our family
greatly enjoyed our vacation at your mammoth
lakes condo. Taking the shuttle to the mountain or
shopping was very convenient and easy to get to.
Thank you so much.

Had a great time. The unit was very clean and well furnished. Look forward to next year at the same location. Thanks.

We had a wonderful Christmas up at Mammoth in this spacious, luxurious and warm condo conveniently situated for all amenities in the area. Family of 5 over from UK and all ages really enjoyed it.
Recommend Shogun for a bit of Sushi.
Watch out for traffic cops on the road up from LA !

We stayed 1/22/09-1/25/09. The condo was comfortable and easily accommodated our family (6 adults, 2 children, and an infant). It was clean and had everything we needed, plenty of linens, plates, utensils, etc. The televisions were a bit outdated, but we weren't there to watch TV anyway. I would recommend this condo to family/friends traveling together. We would definitely stay again.

The condo was spacious and laid out perfectly for our mixed group. We had a newborn who could sleep in lower room while adults could entertain each other in the Kitchen & Living Rooms. And fresh knee deep powder every morning made the vacation unforgettable.

What a wonderful condo! I felt like we were in my own home. So spacious and cozy with every amenity! The location was also great. Snowcreek is so nice and the jaccuzi was wonderful.

We had a very nice family reunion/birthday gathering. Plenty of room and everyone enjoyed the long weekend. Great walks in every direction, hiking was spectacular, recommend renting a party barge at Lake Mary and spending a day on this lovely lake. Owner's recommendations on restaurants were great and cannot say enough about The Stove for breakfast. Would highly recommend going to Schatts Bakery, everything is incredible! This is a great place to stay for a summer vacation. Very peaceful and relaxing, yet your located just minutes from numerous wonderful family activities. Can't wait for our next trip!

Six days of great skiing! Trees were completely white going up Chair 12. Snowed 4-14" every day. Condo was a great place and well equipped. Probably the most roomy place we have stayed in. Liked all the TVs. We seem to alway pick the perfect week to come in February. No crowds, gorgeous weather, fresh snow. The views wonderful. Thanks for opening your place to us. We had a great time!

Beautiful time. 5 feet of new snow from the weekend before but we had beautiful weather. Condo has lots of space to spread out. Thank you.
Lombardo Family, Orange County, CA

We had a wonderful time with 9" of new snow. The condo worked out perfectly. The babies experienced snow for the first time and the boys made a snowboard run on the side of the condo. It was fun watching their trial and error!
