Description of the Mammoth Lakes vacation condo rental
One bedroom, one bathroom condo in the village at Mammoth. Only six years old, with granite countertops and stone flooring in the kitchen and bathroom. Designer decor and furnishings, and black appliances. Best location in the village - first floor of Grand Sierra Lodge facing the trees - the quiet side, away from the noise of the pool and restaurants.

Area Information
This is the best location in all of Mammoth. You will be IN (not near, not close - but right inside) the village. We are literally 200 feet and a one minute walk to the gondola, and a plethora of shops and restaurants are right out our front door. The village is definitely the heart of mammoth and the best location. One of my favorite rituals is walking outside after a huge snowstorm early in the morning, grabbing a fresh cup of coffee at Starbucks in the village, wandering over to the New York Deli for a delicious breakfast, then throwing my skis in the gondola and heading up for a morning on the slopes.

We purchased this unit because of several reasons. We LOVE Mammoth and come here all the time in the winter and summer. Also, the village is the best location in town, and we feel that our unit is in the best location in the village. We are in Grand Sierra Lodge (now known as the Village Lodge), which is the building with the huge lobby and the front desk, as well as the Smokeyard BBQ and Chop Shop. So if it's snowing outside you don't even need to exit the building to grab a great meal! And of course the main benefit of being in the village is that we walk directly to the gondola, and get whisked right to the ski lifts at Canyon Lodge. We also love the gated, underground heated parking - a big luxury in this town, where many properties do not even covered parking and people are digging their cars out of the snow after a big snowfall.
