Start your day by grabbing your coffee and watching a majestic sunrise over Lemon Bay right from your own lanai. Take a short walk and join in on some morning yoga on the beach.

Are you a beach lover? Stroll across the street and go for a swim. Collect seashells and shark’s teeth. Sunbathe and listen to the soothing sounds of the Gulf. Take a long walk on the seven miles of peaceful, unspoiled beach. Fly a kite. Fish in the surf.

Water sports. Bring your boat and park at our dock. Don’t have a boat? Take advantage of the many local boat rental options. You can also rent jet skis, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and more. Take advantage some of the best fishing around, from our dock, a boat or the Gulf Beach.

Food, Drinks and Entertainment. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance. Have a waterfront meal or just some drinks while listening to live music. If you are bold, you may even be able to show off your karaoke skills!

Last, but certainly not least, complete your wonderful day by watching an amazing sunset over the Gulf!

We hope to hear from you soon so we can help you plan your vacation!

About the area

Just south of Sarasota, off the coast of Englewood, this beguiling barrier island is in perfect harmony with its surroundings. No traffic lights, no high rises, no deed restrictions, just a two lane protected canopy road leading you to swaying palms, an endless white sand beach, and the warm, turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Casually sophisticated, Manasota Key offers a variety of lifestyles. Opulent waterfront estates mingle effortlessly with cozy beach-side cottages and classic winter residences. An eclectic variety of shops populate nearby Historic Dearborn Street and restaurants tempt eager visitors on and off the key. Nearby sandbars offer soothing relaxation or invigorating water sports while big amenities are just minutes away. Manasota Key is the perfect match for the busy corporate executive that needs Century's old Banyan trees alive with tropical birds, frolicking dolphin, loggerhead turtles, balmy sea breezes, the kiss of the sun, and the magic of the sunset endow Manasota Key with a dramatic, sensual, and serene ambiance. to get away from it all but requires the convenience of nearby airports. If you enjoy casual waterfront dining you'll love the numerous restaurants, accessible by boat along the Intra-Coastal waterway from Sarasota to Boca Grande. Take family, friends, and business associates 10 minutes south to Stump Pass and swim with the dolphins, hunt for pre-historic shark's teeth and fossils, grill out, or just watch the sunset into the Gulf of Mexico. I assure you this is the most natural barrier island remaining on the west coast of Florida. If you desire privacy, don't miss the gated north end of the key which has true Gulf to Bay estates which overlook an Eagle Preserve on the Intra-Coastal.

This was our second time at this beautiful unit for vacation and won't be the last. Everything was just delightful and perfect for our stay again! The spacious unit was clean and well maintained for our vacation. My wife and myself are looking forward to being there again next year.

Owner's reply: Thank you for the wonderful review Tony! We look for to having you again next year!

“Thank you for a fabulous vacation!”

This condo has the most amazing views, I can't really describe it to do it justice. Even on the one stormy day we had, no boats in the bay meant lots of dolphins & to sit on the lanai and watch them was really special. The location was ideal for us, Manasota Key is beautiful and the beach was right across the road. I'm a yoga fan and never missed a yoga session on the beach. We were also able to walk out and get food or drinks without having to get the car out and not worry about having an extra cocktail or beer (or 2). Also the owners timely responses to queries was reassuring. We enjoyed it so much it was everything we'd hoped it would be, and the weather was amazing. We have many memories to treasure, certainly hope to be back and definitely recommend the condo and the area to anyone.

Owner's reply: Hi Caroline, Thank you very much for the great review. Glad you liked the view and everything you can do without getting in your car! You are always welcome so stay in touch!

The unit and place could have not been better..It truly is a dream vacation that we had in the lovely updated condo unit. We will be back next year hopefully.

“Simply beautiful.”

Very nice condo in a great location with spectacular view of Lemon Bay. Within walking distance to a lot, including the beach and ample eateries. I think we loved the early mornings the best: sitting out on the patio, having orange juice & coffee and watching the gorgeous sunrises with only the sounds of birds and calming motors of slow-moving boats around us. We never used the boat dock but should we come back, we will definitely consider it! Very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Beautiful pool when we felt like staying close by. We truly hope to return one day...soon!

Owner's reply: Thanks for the review Allison! We look forward to hearing from you again (and again)!

“Just Relax”

Reviewed 21 Jun 2015

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this condo in El Galeon on Manasota Key. The condo was clean and well- furnished and located in the central part of the Island. It is a short walk to lunch or dinner at the local restaurants and the short walk to the beach, won't allow the ice in your margarita to melt. Unfortunately my stay was limited to 5 days and by the time I adjusted to the birds, the fishing and the tranquility of the Island, it was time to go home. We plan to stay longer next time. We enjoyed breakfast everyday on the balcony. Oh yes, keep an eye out for the dolphins. They are there!

“What you see, is what you get and more!”

This is a tastefully decorated, clean, modern, comfortable condo. I slept on the sofa bed and was lulled to sleep by the gentle waters of Lemon Bay. It was the most comfortable sofa bed I have ever slept on. The views of Lemon Bay are beautiful. From the balcony, you will see mullet jumping out of the water and if you are lucky, Manatees. Look closely as you may see them kiss. I was pleasantly surprised, that the beach is indeed as close as what it seems in the video. Every morning I sat on the balcony with my coffee and watched the sun rise before going to the morning yoga class on the beach. In the evenings you can walk across the street and watch the sun go down. Other options include sunset yoga (offered twice a week) or Sunday night drum circle, also in the beach. If that's not your thing, there are cool bars with live music and happy hour food and drink specials. Everything is within walking distance. Between sunrise and sunset, we rented bikes and used them to explore the Island. There are 4 public beaches and they are pristine. If you look at the Gulf long enough you will see dolphins. We watched dolphins jump out of the water in perfect unison, performing as if they just escaped from SeaWorld. Magical! We took the nature walk in Stump Pass Beach State Park and collected sharks teeth on the beach. Another day we went on a 90 minute stand up paddleboard tour that left from the same State Park. It was serene AND a good work out. I recommend this condo for anyone looking for a lovely space and location to relax and enjoy the island life. It's all there. No reason to leave the island. Can't wait to go back!

“Great View from an awesome condo!”

We loved the view from our well appointed, clean condo. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and enjoy a lovely sunset view and during the day we walked across the street to the awesome water too. The condo was very well maintained, everything was like new condition. So it was super comfortable to stay there. We had a great time and would visit again!
