Perfect place - Upper East side

Definitely a place, that i will recommend to my friends and colleagues. This apt in the lovely upper east side is nearly perfect, it might happen that it seems a bit loud for people who live on the countryside, but there is a nice view on the 3rd ave. only thing missing is a microwave maybe. subways 4,5,6 only approx. 5 minutes away, lots of shops, including best buy, barnes and nobles close by. the owners are very friendly and relaxed. place has enough storage-room. living-room and bedroom can be left open to watch tv, with 2 sliding-doors you have the privacy you might wanna have, if your kid is sleeping in the livingroom. kitchen has it all, internet is included in price and works good. security is perfect, doorman always checks who is going in. in the 3rd floor you find a large laundry-room. so all together its a good value for money. so enjoy your time, i'll recommend this place. warm regards, Gary

This was our first visit to NYC and we found this apartment to be a great base to explore Manhattan. You are about 5 blocks from the Guggenheim and Central Park and 4 blocks from the 4-5-6 subway line, so getting around was very easy. The neighborhood is upscale and very safe and the building is doorman controlled. Parking was in the basement of the building, but just park it and forget it if you bring a vehicle ($30/day) There are some great restaurants within walking distance and groceries drug stores and a great wine shop are all within a couple of blocks. The service in the building is very friendly. The apartment is clean, bright and well equipped with a full galley kitchen and plenty of storage. We found the bed to be particularly comfortable. A nice feature is the free Wi-Fi that made making reservations and checking attraction addresses and hours very easy. Great apartment in a great area. You can't go wrong.

Stayed 2 nites for the NYC Marathon. Location was perfect. Loads of restaurants with quality and variety. Owner was wonderful to work with, accomodating my arrival and departure requests. Apartment was very clean and very simple. My only complaint was that either the microwave was well-hidden or there wasn't one. My apologies if it was there and I just didn't see it. Views from 16th floor of Manhattan were impressive. The parking garage below the bldg was quite helpful. Doormen in lobby were extremely polite and helpful. I'll go back.
