Stylish apartment in a great location

October 30, 2010

Gorgeous apartment in a fantastic location. Nice and spacious, with really stylish interior - just as it looks in the photos. We're just back from a week's stay here and would gladly stay here again. It's in the heart of the West Village, which is is a lovely area of town - lots of leafy streets to wander round, with plenty of nice shops, bars and restaurants. Both the area and the building felt safe. There's a constant buzz late into the night - there are bars just across the road, several 24 hour grocery store within a couple of minutes' walk, and the subway is really handy (although we rarely used it - there was so much to explore on foot). Only thing to be aware of is the bedroom looks out onto busy 7th Avenue, so there is constant streetnoise, making it difficult to sleep. Easily resolved with a pair of earplugs though.
