Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Manhattan, New York
New York - New York
July 25, 2010
Great location and suited our needs beautifully. Close to great shopping, good restruants and very central to all the tourist points. One of the downstairs beds was a problem, the base kept slipping which made for some difficult nights sleeps - other than this the appartment was great. Will look to book this apartment next time we head to NY.
April 14, 2010
We booked this apartment for a four day stay in April, but despite receiving a deposit, the agents provided no confirmation, were evasive when contacted, and then cancelled (with a reason that was patently a lie) with only a three months to go, leaving us in a difficult situation finding a replacement. Avoid them like the plague.
misleading!! Do NOT rent here!!

First, I still haven't received my $600 security deposit back (after leaving over a month) and they say that they are not willing to give me back my money because I complained. second, although the apartment pictures supposedly represented the idea of how it looks, it is misleading to a great extent. Owner needs to clarify that this apartment is 2 bedrooms NOT 3! The master bedroom has a sliding door for a storage room that they turned into a "3rd" bedroom. And that storage/bedroom was freezing cold n the heater that was on 24/7 didn't make it slightly warm. Owner didn't greet or hand us the keys! I called from a pay phone and she told us to go to this other location (a parking facility) to pick up the keys from a guy who works there (they seem to have an arrangement). This is complete and utter irresponsibility and is greatly unprofessional not to mention a great hassle for us who endured a 20 hour flight not and the 45 minute drive from JFK airport to Manhattan. As for the kitchen, it was dark and had no lights! There were 8 lights in the ceiling but none of them had bulbs and we had to lit candle to just turn on the coffee maker. amenities were not met! E.g. No laundry-soap, Trash Can, Cleaning Supplies, Mop, Bucket, Broom, Dustpan, and Vacuum Cleaner Moreover, wireless NEVER worked, and when it did it lasted for 10 minutes and therefore we were not able to get any work done. We're v disappointed from promises not met, false descriptions and how she ignored
