Description of the Manhattan vacation b&b rental
I have an amazing brownstone on 93rd Street between 5th and Madison. We have 6 huge Victorian suites with private bathrooms, some with 2 person Jacuzzi, others with large cast iron tubs. Large rooms with plush carpeting and antique furniture. All are rented individually.

Some have queen sized beds, and some have kings that can split into 2 twins. Most suites can accommodate 4 people with very comfortable extra queen sized inflatable beds with headboards (linens provided.) One suite has a large outside balcony overlooking a garden, which is the only place where smoking is allowed. We also have a 1 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, and 2 queen sized beds in the living room (1 fold-out, one inflatable) that can sleep 6.

There is premium cable in each suite, along with complimentary high-speed WiFi, fridge, coffee machine, tea kettle, microwave, iron and board. Prices start at $170 in the off season, $220 the rest of the year.

You will not get a better deal than this, nor will you find nicer accommodations. If you want a quiet, luxurious home away from home tomorrow or next year in Manhattan's most exclusive residential neighborhood, please contact me.

The location was great, thus the stars! The apartment was not so great. I am uncertain what was 'recently renovated', the chairs were old with dirt stains, bedroom had a huge gross picture of bodies entwined and my sister who went with me, looked up to see something resembling 'boogers' on the wall next to where she slept. These are just to name a few - I could go on and on. The young men that work there seem to be nice, but were not around to carry our luggage up or down FOUR flights of stairs. PS I now have athletes feet! PSS - I still love NY, just not that apartment - what a shame!

Excellent hotel although a bit small with limited storage space for clothes. Friendly staff. A bit far from the theatre district, which was our main reason for visiting NYC.

Quiet and clean

April 16, 2008

My son, husband and I stayed in the Madeleine suite for 5 days and it was just right. The room was big, clean and comfortable. The fellow (TO) who met us and cleaned the room was very polite and helpful. The location was great for seeing museums and Central Park and it was nice to get out of the density of midtown in the evening. With a good pair of walking shoes we made it downtown in 45 minutes, taking different routes each time.
