Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Manhattan, New York

Great central location, very clean!!!

We are so glad that we chose to rent an apt in NYC instead of staying at a hotel! Chelsea was an excellent location - 6 min walk to Penn Stn and then just about any train to wherever your heart desires! Deb met us as planned and all arrangements like signing the contract and deposit payment were easy. Deb was very generous with her suggestions for sightseeing, restaurants etc and really made us feel at home. We can't wait to return!!! :-)

Nice place to stay in NY
November 26, 2012
The place is very nice and it´s actually the owner´s home. That´s good because we felt like we were at home. It´s very good located and completely quiet. Deborah was very nice and lovely with us, helped with directions and nice tips of the city and neighborhood. Only one negative aspect, that is not so bad: no elevator in the building (eventhough it was the third floor) . Thank´s Deborah for making our stay unforgetable!

What a great stay

It was just wonderful! It was my firt time in NY and the location was perfect. I could go everywhere walking or easily take the subway. The apartment is great, very cosy and clean, perfect for a couple. The area is very charming and you can find everything you need a few steps from the apartment. Deborah is very nice and kind, she explained everything about nice places to go and see in the neighborhood. I will surely look for staying at her place again.
soooo glad we stayed here

From the first moment we entered the appartment it smelled so fresh and clean and inviting. Debi had bought fresh Lilys for us (my very favourite flowers) and I knew we are right :) The appartment is perfectly enough for a couple. There is a bedroom and a living room area. Kitchen has everything to cook, even a Fondue Set!!!! All in all very positive experience and will definitely stay here again! Cleaness: Very clean everywhere: Bathroom, Toilet, Kitchen, The fresh towels and made bed were very clean as well. Sleeping quality: Excellent!!! The Bed is soooo good. I am actually not such a fan of foreign beds but this one was just a charm. And here is the most amazing thing: you wake up to the sound of birds and not trucks, police cars and noice. First Morning I was so disoriented that it took me a while to really realise where we are and that these are really birds singing in the morning. So glad the bedroom windows go to the yard and not to the street! Location: Very good. Just 2 Blocks away from Penn station Metro line which takes you very comfortably up and downtown. It's in a walking distance to High Line, Chelsea Market, Macy's, Loehman's... Breakfast and grocery: There is a very good grocery store on 9th. You need to go out of the building to the left, cross the 9th Ave and walk 20 meters. In the supermarket they have everything you need for breakfast or dinner. We made Tortillas with cheese the very last morning since didn't know about the grocery before. They also have fresh fruit and veggies which is not so easy to find in NYC. The other option is K-Mart, but they are far (next to Friday's on 34th Street) and they don't have fruit or anything besides junk food. The best fruits we got in Chinatown from a fruit stand. Amaaaaazing Papayas and Mango. Worth travelling to Chinatown for that. Another possibility to breakfast is the Deli on 8th across the street. It's Mexican run business and they make fresh omellete wraps with patatas and sausage and have paninis, cakes, muffins, etc. Take your food and sit on the stairs of the Post Office and watch the NY wake up and work it's way to the day :) Other but important things: The communication with Debi was spotless. She was very responsive and helpful at any time. Also no problem with transfering money, receiving our deposit back! Another good thing is the laudery room downstairs. You just do your whole laundery in less then 1.5 hours which is super fast.
