I stayed a week with my girlfriend. We come down to the keys every winter to get away from the cold. It has been recently updated and comes with linens and kitchen stuffs. the bed is decent and has xfinity HDTV and WIFI. fresh paint and floors are nice. Bathroom is TINY but functional as well as clean. Kitchen is very small but it works well. the couch is comfortable. I spent alot of time enjoying wildlife in the canal and cooking out on the grill. (the grill that is there doesnt work well it just heats things up however there is a propane crab steamer thing and i brought a cast iron grill so that was what we used. The view is great you don't have people staying on the other side of the canal just a lot of mangroves and maybe a fisherman's wharf behind that. to the right you can see a small island with 3 trees and next to that you can see the bridge to conch key from layton. Lots of birdwatching and tropical fish come to right to the patio. we fed them bread and corn then you will see many more. Overall we had a nice time here as long as you don't mind the small size.
