Description of the Marco Island vacation condo rental
This is a beautiful condo on the beach with an unsurpassed view of the Gulf of Mexico. This condo has 2 bedroom/2 bath with lots of extras. The living room is large with sofas, recliners and TV, VCR, DVD. There is a sofa bed for your guest if needed. The dining room is adjacent to the living room with table and 4 chairs and extras in the bedroom if you have guest. The kitchen is remodeled with new cabinets and wall has been removed to open it up and add counter space. All appliances are new and many items for your cooking needs. The master bedroom had a king size bed and dresser and tables and lamps and TV. Master bath is adjoining. Guest bedroom is separated from the master and has twin beds and a hall bath outside the door. Carpet was new in 2008. Clean and nicely appointed. South Seas has a guard gate with 24-hour security, large swimming pool next to the building and the beach. 10 tennis courts with a club atmosphere, exercise room and boat docks on the bay. Area Information
Marco Island is a beautiful Island, 4 miles wide by 6 miles long. Our beach is 3.5 miles long. It has beautiful white sugar sand that is beautiful to see as well as soft on you feet. Many shells are found on our beach. Fishing is great. Boating is so much fun. You can go to many island nearby and have your own beach for the day.

Great view of Gulf, and Fireworks on the 4th!

This was a great condo. It was well equipped. Convenient location to all parts of island. The balcony allowed for an unobstructed view of the beach all the way from north to south! It is close to the lagoon connected with Tiger Tail Beach, so it is a good hike to get all the way to the Gulf beach. I liked being able to walk to Tiger Tail Beach to rent a Kayak without driving there and having to pay to get in the park. A good assortment of eateries in the area, but close enough to Naples to enjoy added eateries and views. Felt safe in the gated community and in the building. July is the time to go for affordable luxury in Vacation rentals along with the Fireworks on the ocean!

Life at the beach !

We had a fantastic time at the South Seas Tower !!! The accomadations were perfect for our family - everything felt like home ,including supplies for the beach and for the condo - it was great ! The view was incredible and we loved Marco Island ! The office people were friendly and helpful and were easy to find if we had questions. We spent part of every day at the beach walking or searching for seashells -it was awesome ! Many good places to eat were within a nice walk or a short drive- we enjoyed many great seafood dinners ! Our 3 teen/young adult kids loved the experience and are already counting on a repeat family trip to the South Seas Tower ! It was wonderful family vacation - we definitely will be returning to the sunny beaches of Marco Island and the South Seas Tower !!! Highly recommend you plan a trip to this area !

stayed here with a group of girlfriends. the location was perfect, the view was wonderful and the condo had everything we needed. some furniture showing wear of rental, but in all, we would stay here again.

stayed at 1604 sea winds cond everything was good played tennis every day rented bikes room was a bit small for 4 people but dooable good view depending on rates would go back next year

the unit we rented #1202 bldg. 3, was not what we expected. The square footage was adequate for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids), but was out dated and worn. One of the 3 elevators was out of service for 4 days, which made for quite a wait for a ride. More people were waiting in the lobby than one elevator could load. Most annoying of all---the walk to the beach. This bldg is on a lagoon-not the ocean. The walk to the ocean beach was a killer. Pulling a cooler, dragging chairs, carrying stuffed beach bags=too much trouble. Absolutely anyone with a walking disability could not manage this. We drove to South Beach were my husband dropped us & our stuff off at the beach and went and parked.

Not bad but could be better

We stayed in a unit on the 8th floor of Tower 4. The constant rumbling of patio/balcony doors being opened and closed was quite distracting. There seemed to be not much sound deadening in the walls and floors and we seemed to listen to furniture being scraped across the floor above us all the time, although thankfully not at night. Our unit was nice enough but everything was done a bit on the cheap. Even the electrical outlets seemed oddly sized and you have to spread the prongs on your plugs to get them to stay in the outlets. The cleaners ignored dirt on vertical surfaces. Wifi was free and good but only in the lobby and every morning and evening, all the chairs would be filled with folks huddled over their laptops, getting emails and such. Everybody we met was friendly and the building managers seemed to be on the ball. You have to pay $5 for a mag-card to do laundry but then you have to put money on the card in $5 increments - they forgot to tell me the $5 I paid was for the card and there was nothing ON the card for laundry - a little aggravating. Not much to do in Marco Island except fishing but a nice calm place to do nothing.

Home away from home

The unit we stayed in was very comfortable, accessible to the beach and very clean. It had everything, all we needed to do was to shop for groceries and cook our own meal,may it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. I'd recommend this unit as it was well maintained and everything you need under the sun.
