Description of the Marco Island vacation home rental
Seacrest is an incredible walk-to-the-beach, wide water view home in one of the nicest areas of Marco Island. She is located on the corner of Landmark Street and Maple Court, three blocks from the WALK-ON Beach Access by the Maderia (on Collier).

*** ALL NEW 2014 - Wall paper removed and both bathrooms repainted in tropical colors. Doubled Driveway space and added a paver side entry driveway. Now pulling in and out is always forward facing if your desire. New high efficiency A/C - Heating system.

*** ALL NEW 2012 - Electronics Upgrades *** including 55" Flat panel in master and 46" inch flatpanels in the remaining bedrooms and living room (not shown here)

Seacrest has ten-foot ceilings in every room and the layout is grand, flowing, and spacious. Central air conditioning, which can be controlled in every room (via duct adjustments), is STANDARD! Also, ALL bedrooms have ceiling fans in them.

Undoubtedly, one very attractive feature of Seacrest is its proximity to the best Marco has to offer to tourists. Unlike some other Marco rental owners that really stretch the term "Walk to the Beach" (you should ask them), we MEAN IT (six minutes)!!!

Seacrest sits on a lushly, tropically landscaped, over-sized corner property (160 feet verses the normal 80 feet for most homes on Marco). There is a huge side lawn for those days when you want to have the children close to home while you sit by the pool or enjoy a quiet day around the house.

We think the view from the back lanai is nothing short of spectacular (see photos). Seacrest is situated on the end of a waterway facing east toward Landmark waterway. We estimate it to be a short ride by boat to the open waters of the Gulf and tropical sunsets and frolicking dolphins that Marco is famous for. And best of all, you come out by Cape Marco at the south end of the island...The 30ft dream dock allows for easy fishing right from the privacy of the home.

And, of course, there is the large, heated, swimming pool. Covered in the winter, so we can keep it warm for you, and situated on an over-sized lanai, it is the perfect place to relax at the water's edge and enjoy the view. The lanai has its own small refrigerator so you can keep cool drinks and snacks close at hand.

We have one of the BEST six person Spas made. It is ALWAYS HOT and offers 37 jets of relaxation. Sit in the spa and look at the wonderful view while you forget the cares of everyday life.

With Seacrest's lanai facing to the east, you have the most fantastic sunrises and, best of all, we get sun for most of the day as the sun makes its way over the lanai heading east to west. Also, there is a portion of the lanai that gets sun ALL day, as it is not blocked at any time by the house. We have positioned two of the lounge chairs at this location.

One of the really "cool" things about Seacrest, is that there are so many sliding doors and expansive windows that open up onto the lanai. It is really easy to enjoy the long water view from any of the common rooms of the home.

The living room opens up to the pool area with fully-retracting, eight-foot, sliding doors. Many of the common areas like the family room and living room have wall-to-wall carpet. The contemporary formal dining room seats six. It is adjacent to the kitchen, yet private enough to keep "cooking" noise to a minimum.

The kitchen in Seacrest is clearly designed for the cooks in the family. It boasts a huge pantry, way more cabinets then we could possibly fill, and "premium" appliances including microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and refrigerator. The counters and breakfast bar are made of Corian for easy clean up and care. We loved the fact that you can see any activities going on in the pool (through the nook's window) and in the family room.

Adjacent to the breakfast bar is a nook, so there is plenty of room for the whole family to sit and enjoy meals in a more casual setting than the formal dining area. Between the breakfast bar and the nook you can seat seven.

The family room (where we spend our time inside) has a really cooooool family entertainment system. The 36-inch television is a Sony connected to a DVD player and home theater system with digital surround sound.

There are five speakers total that create the home theater experience. You can also listen to CDs and AM/FM radio through the audio component of the system. The leather couch turns into a queen-size sleeper bed and there is a ceiling fan overhead for your comfort.

The master bedroom suite (we call it the Athens Room) is exactly what you would expect in a home of this grandeur. There is a 30-inch Sony XBR TV with matching DVD player (and, yes, we supply the DVDs). There are wireless headphones so one person can sleep while the other watches the TV. Also, there is a personal audio system with CD/tape and AM/FM tuner.

The master bathroom boasts twin sinks which are inlaid on a cultured marble counter with a massive mirror set behind the vanity. There is a soaking tub and separate shower. The toilet, located in a separate room set to the right side of the shower, allows couples to make use of the master bathroom at the same time without surrendering any privacy.

The Rome Room (we call it this because the decor reminds us of Italy) offers a queen-size bed, home computer system with always on high-speed internet access, 17-inch flat panel monitor, fax/multi-function center, and TV/DVD entertainment system. Ceiling fan, alarm clock, and telephone are also present.

The Cairo Room (it has a sultry Arabian Nights feel to it!) offers two twin beds and a personal entertainment system that includes a TV/VCR and a Nintendo Game Cube (with a few of our select games from our own collection). Ceiling fan, alarm clock, and telephone are also present.

My family of 4 plus my son's friend stayed at this wonderful house during spring break 2016. It had plenty of room for us all. The hot tub and pool were one of the best features. The pool is comfortably set to 84 degrees and was welcoming in the morning for my morning swim. The kids usually enjoyed it in the evening, followed by the hot tub. It is wonderfully appointed and had all the amenities that you need for your stay. Not having to pack extras like beach towels was nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to prepare great meals. It is situated close to the main strip of restaurants and not far from the beach. It was also nice to have all the beach gear accessible and the bikes were great for exercise and riding up to the store. Paul was always very prompt in responding and kept in touch with us to make sure we had a good experience. I would highly recommend this house for a family vacation. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

The house is very nice and it appears that the owners are in the process of completing some very nice updates to the house, decor, appliances and electronics. All was in order and there were 2 very detailed books on the house, all electronics and appliances, also included were a good list of things to do, places to eat.... One of the best stocked kitchens for a rental I have seen. This is the first place I have been to that I did not have to go out and buy herbs or spices for cooking. The weber grill is great, just follow the instructions and all is well. Pool area was very clean and well kept. The beach was a real 5 minute walk from the house with only 1 slightly busy street to cross. One of nicest place we have been and will return.

House was in very good condition. Indoor pool was good for the kids. It sleeps 6 people and not 7 (1 king and 2 queen beds) however we had to use the sofa to sleep the 7th person. 5 minutes drive to thye beach which was fine with me. Close to grocery store was a plus.

This house has it all - well well worth the money. Quality throughout with expectional views of the pool / dock and canal. We enjoyed the use of the bikes, fishing poles, etc too. We hated to leave and look forward to coming back again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What makes Seacrest different then any other Marco Island home I may look at?
A: Seacrest offers amazing views, location and proximity in a home that is always being maintained and improved to provide what we believe is the best overall enjoyment experience. The beach, dining, movies, ice cream, you name it - all just a short walk away.
Q: Why rent from Paul Demos?
A: I have been providing my own privately owned rental homes on Marco Island since 2001. History has taught me what people want and over time I have refined the experience I offer people and the team of support service providers to provide a best in class experience.
Q: Why no pets?
A: I get asked this often as I have 3 dogs of my own. Some guest have allergies to pet dander created by hair or fur. The process of cleaning a house after a pet has stayed is expensive and time consuming. We simply could not ensure a high enough standard of post pet departure dander removal to allow pets to visit.
