Description of the Marigot Bay vacation villa rental
Plantation style villa built in 2006 combining the Caribbean influence of hard wood floors, high ceilings and ceiling fans with the elegance of old English style comfortable sofas, antique and pine furniture and colourful rugs. An eclectic mix of artworks adorn the walls throughout and numerous table lamps provide soft lighting to complement the warm tropical evenings. Dining on the deck at the table which can seat up to 10/12 people looking at the twinkling lights of the boats anchored in the bay and the houses around the hillsides is a magical experience. The ground floor is open plan with 4 sets of French double doors to the deck and an open wood staircase ascending in front of an arched 2 storey window to the front, allowing maximum light. The pool is just 5 steps down from the ground floor deck and is surrounded by a wooden deck with sun loungers and privacy providing bougainvillea and other climbing flowers to one side and a small lawn and trees to the other. Below are palms and fruit trees including mango, grapefruit, lime and bananas. If you are there when the trees are in fruit you can just pick your own delicious and healthy breakfast.
