An ideal place with all the creative comforts, but in pleasant surroundings, offers many options. The complex has a large garden with comfortable recreational facilities. Barbecue nights in the garden are often arranged.
There are two big and one small apartment in the Villa and two in the Stone House. all having charming individual features such as exposed beams and stonework, open fireplaces, large private terraces for serving breakfast and sun decking in privacy. Two of the apartments have one bedroom & saloon and accommodate a small family, whilst the other three are much larger with one master bedroom and adjacent bedrooms sleeping up to six comfortably. The larger units are furnished with two bathrooms, two terraces- indoor and outside dining with full amenities.
Located in the green and mountainous periphery of Marmaris, Villa Manzara is on a hillside with a beautiful panorama of the Selimiye Bay and the surrounding almond and pine covered mountains from where cool breezes bring relief even during the hot summer months.
Situated in the Southern Aegean coast of Turkey, Selimiye is 40 km. south of Marmaris and is app. 140 km. from the Dalaman and Bodrum International Airport.
The buses to Bozburun and Selimiye can be a mode of transportation as well as taxi and minibus services from Marmaris.
The whole area is ideal for walking or mountain biking. Our guests particularly enjoy the walk over the hills to Bozburun, the waterfall around Turgut and the climb to the small fortress overlooking the village.
Historical ruins of Roman, Helenic, Byzantium and Ottoman era are an integral feature of the locality just as the the beautiful inlets and islands which are encountered during the daily boat trips.
For groups of four or more people it is possible to arrange a personal itinerary. Small tours or excursions to the environs, i.e. waterfalls, Datca/Knidos, Bozburun yatch harbour, and to the nearby historical ruins adds immeasurably to your appreciation of the history, landscape and culture with which you come into contact.
Our guests also choose to take the minibus to Marmaris for more sophisticated shopping or visit Bozburun where you can see traditional wooden gulets being built.
It is also worth exploring the interior of the Peninsula. There are waterfalls close by, with trout restaurants where the tables are set in the river. Right up in the mountains you will find the picturesque village of Bayir which is the place to buy honey and pistachio nuts.

I'm very sorry that it took so long for me to respond to your
email! I just looked at it today for the first time since I
left the ship. I want to thank you very much for opening Villa
Manzara to us! My friends and I could not have been happier
with the place. I left Shengul a tip along with $20.00 USD for
a door knob that broke. We're sorry about that. We also want
to apologize for the friend of ours who ended up on the porch of
the other home. We sent him back to the ship. Sardunya was a
fabulous place to eat, and Mustafah was very kind to us! We
want to thank you for all of the hospitality. I will email you
all of that information tomorrow. I have to ask everyone their
age, and I am about to go flying. Take care and I will email

Dear Hasan and Nuran
Just to say we are now safely back at home and having to face up to the reality of life. Although we love our home we are missing you both and Villa Manzara already. We made Turkish breakfast this morning but it did not taste quite the same without the view of Selimiye and the presence of
Deli Kiz Kedi cat !
Villa Manzara was truly a home from home. Thankyou so much for making our stay so wonderful and being such good friends. We will be recommending villa Manzara to our friends and hope to return again. We hope your journey your to Istanbul went well and that you will keep in touch. I have attached some photos from our stay, hope you can download them OK, let me know if not.
Much love Lucy and James
