Our loft is 1200 sq/ft of luxury living space just steps away from the beautiful shores of Lake Superior! The main bedroom has 1 queen bed and a full size sleeper couch. The second bedroom has 2 queen beds. There is one full sized bathroom located between the bedrooms. There is a giant great room with a full kitchen stocked with every convenience to cook meals for your entire family. The dining table seats 6 and there is space for a few more at the breakfast bar. All of the mattresses, box springs, bedding and furniture are brand new! There is a beautiful 4 season room with another futon sleeper to the back of the room that has exterior access to the deck. There is a 500 sq/ft deck overlooking the lush grounds and lawn areas. We provide a nice propane BBQ for your enjoyment. Every consideration has been made for your optimum family experience.
Seacoast Resort & Loft is located 15 miles east of Marquette and 25 miles west of Munising. Munising is the home of Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore. Marquette is our Upper Peninsula's most populated city. With a population of over 20,000 people, Marquette boasts many conveniences. We have upscale shopping and dining experiences, museums, art galleries, historical sites, NMU's Superior Dome Olympic sporting and recreation center, golf, award winning attractions and tours, charters, event facilities and venues for just about anything you can think of. We are centrally located and any Upper Peninsula travel destination or activity is within a day trip. We have extensive and well maintained hiking, biking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing trails for every skill level. Our water ways include fabulous Lake Superior and too many inland waterways and lakes to count. There are many opportunities to swim, paddle board, kayak, boat, fish, rock hunt, bird watch and lounge around on one of our beautiful beaches. There are zoos, nature parks, forests, lighthouses, and waterfalls to explore. Tahquamenon Falls State Park's 52,000 acres has wonderful viewing areas where you can take in the natural beauty of the surrounding wilderness and see the waterfalls in all their glory. The Seney National Wildlife Refuge, Strangmoor Bog National Natural Landmark, and Whitefish Point encompass over 95,000 acres of wilderness and was established in 1935 for the protection of migratory birds and other wildlife. There is a wonderful visitor's center and you can slowly drive through the park with your family. Birdwatcher's and children will rejoice when they learn about this 'Globally Important Bird Area' and the thousands of raptors, passerines and waterbirds that refuel here during there migrations. There are way too many other places and activities to list! No matter what time of year, we have it all right here.
