“Great place!”

Reviewed 22 Jun 2016

This place was very spacious and pleasant. Well furnished, the skylights everywhere add a lot. The beach is spectacular. Kitchen very well equipped.

“Beautiful Lake Superior Rental”

Reviewed 5 Jun 2016

My husband and I, plus another couple, stayed in this rental for six nights. It worked out very well for us. The space was more than adequate for the four of us, the beds comfortable, the location quite convenient. We did a number of day-trips from there - about 20 minutes to Marquette, 2 hours and 20 minutes to the nearest copper mine (Adventure Mine - totally worth the drive), a half hour or so to Munising. The beach is very nice and easily accessible just across the road, and there is a portable fireplace there. Two nights we had a sunset fire on the beach - lovely! Teresa and her husband provided us with firewood for this purpose and we appreciated that so much. The kitchen has the basics in terms of dishes, pots and pans, silverware, cooking utensils. Thanks, Teresa, for a great week!

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review! We enjoyed having you stay at Seacoast and hope that you come back to see us for your future trips to the UP!

“great place to stay”

Reviewed 16 Jul 2015

The loft at Seacoast is beautiful and located in a great spot between Marquette and Munising. It's bigger and nicer than it appears in photos. Kitchen is well-appoiinted with everything you need. There's a firepit on the lake across the street for a campfire while you watch the beautiful Lake Superior sunset. We loved it!

Owner's reply: Thanks Mrs Dowell we so enjoyed hosting you and can't wait to see you again. Your review is so important to our business!

“Marquette Stay on Lake Superior”

We enjoyed the Seacoast Loft. It was clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, fresh linens and the most beautiful sand beach.

“Close by everything- water, trails, casino”

Reviewed 26 Aug 2014

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed in the main building, it was nice, but the loft and cabin are much better. We had the chance to see the loft, it was like a house, very spacious, updated and clean. We had 3 cabin like Rooms that opened up together. They were all clean, the only downside to this was the size of the shower, it can be compared to the size of a shower in a motor home. The owners are great people. We walked across the street to the beach, absolutely gorgeous! If you stay here you should know 2 great things, 1- ask how to get to the trail so you can pick fresh wild berries, blue, black, and raspberries. They are sooo good! 2- when you go across to the beach walk to the right, go all the way down towards the house, it only takes about 10 to 15 minutes depending g on how fast you walk. There is a great little site there that you can't even see until you get there. As far as distance you are about 25 minutes away from NMU. 5 miles from the casino. Almost connected to thousands of miles of snowmobile and ATV trails.

Owner's reply: We appreciate your wonderful review of our property! Your reviews help others make an educated choice.

“Clean and comfortable”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2013

When we opened the door to the Seacoast Loft, it struck me instantly how pleasant and welcoming it felt. It was also very clean and well kept. The kitchen was stocked with every kind of pot or pan I needed. The only thing I would change, is to put a blind on the door. We tend to be private people so we put a light blanket over it, that took care of that. It was a very quiet private vacation!

“Seacost Loft”

Great location. This place was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Even though the weather didn't cooperate, we had a great time in the Munising / Marquette area. We would recommend the loft as a great alternative to a hotel / motel. Daily walks on the beach .... wonderful.

“Excellent accommodations”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2011

Very comfortable and clean. The owners were very accommodating and eager to please. Lake Superior is across the street. Close in proximity to both Marquette and Munising. Munising has some great waterfalls, pictured rocks and great trails.

We had a wonderful time here at the loft with our two young boys. It truly felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed many of the activities in the area such as the beach, waterfalls, sugarloaf mountain, the children's museum and the Pictured Rocks boat cruise. Most of all we appreciated your attention to our kids needs especially letting our oldest ride the four wheeler. He loved being here and does not want to leave!. Thanks for making this a great vacation! The Banks Family

Hi Geoff and Carole I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at the seacoast loft. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan has become one of my favorite destinations, and it was no exception on our trip. Lots of snow and such beauty. We loved the loft. It was beautifully decorated and the openness of the main area gave a homey feel to the room. Also, we liked how the kitchen was so fully stocked with cups, plates, pans, utensils and silverware. we found everything we needed. Also we enjoyed the many channels on the satellite TV. We found the skiing and the snowboarding to be tremendous. I love the forest and all the trees. It makes for a lovely time of cross-country skiing. My son and his buddy really enjoyed Marquette Mountain. The accessibility to NMU, Marquette and the surrounding area makes your place an ideal spot to stay. I love it that you are on Lake Superior. I hope you have many satisfied guests come to stay! We will definitely keep you and Seacoast Sand River in mind when we come back to the UP. Betsy Foster
